They look nice... but certainly not worth the premium.

Which is why I said they did a terrible job of incorporating the secondary UI. I personally don't use the start screen much. I just pin "this pc" and that's pretty much all I use it for.

Galax's previous name is galaxy... if that helps at all. They build pretty solid cards. You can at least know that they won't blow up if you try to overclock it.

I don't think amy membrane keyboard over 50 bucks is a good value... no matter what feature they give you.

Notua NH-U14s. It looks better than the NH-D14 (i just don't like dual towers) and no other fan compares to noctuas.

Can you stop picking out just the parts you like from my posts? Air cooling is quieter than watercooling, but it gets worse temps. Is that hard to understand? Of course watercooling loops get better temps, but you still have more noises sources, you can't compare a pump with moving parts to a chunk of aluminium. last time i checked, aluminium doesn't make noise.

If you're buying now get windows 8, theres no reason to get windows 7. Like, literally 0 reasons to get windows 7 over windows 8.1
 
 
Because there's also 0 reason to upgrade from vista to windows 7. You get no benefits as long as you have good hardware.

The point he is trying to make is that when you have heatsink with fans running at 900rpm and a loop with fans at 900rpm the aircooler is going to be quieter because of the lack of pump noise. The temperature is irrelevant, because I run my fans at 900rpm regardless of whether I am on air or water, so the pump is just another source of noise.

anything seasonic built is great. you can buy straight from seasonic branded, or get a seasonic built corsair ax760 if you want a cleaner label on the side.

Okay, I should have mentioned at the start that I prefer air cooling to AIO water cooling, and have no interest to build a custom loop. I don't overclock at all.
 
Shirokado, thanks for not stooping to IVIeLt and Marto's level. How they couldn't understand your point after repeating yourself over and over so simply that my class of preschoolers can understand is beyond me. Thanks for staying classy.

I followed and understood both sides, and I get that a custom water cooling loop can be quieter than an air cooler, and get better temps, while having lower fan speeds. I get that. NOBODY DISAGREES WITH YOU. The point Shirokado made (over and over and over) was that an air cooler can be more quiet than a water cooling loop when having the same fan speed AT A COST OF HAVING HIGHER TEMPS. Some of your responses to Shirokado, your insults, disgust me. Try and be decent human beings.

Did you like even read? I clearly stated multiple times, air coolers cannot beat water loops on temperature, but they are more silent at the cost of those temperatures. You can get a NH-D14, keep the fans at 600rpm, and overclock your cpu, and get around 80 degree under load, you can also get a custom loop, and it'll probably get even better temps, hovering around the 50s with the same fans at 600rpm. But if theres 2 600rpm fans on an air cooler, and 3x600rpm on a 360mm ran + a pump, the water loop is creating more noise, but it does get much better temps. and 80 may not be a low temperature, but its still a perfectly fine temperature.

It does take some time transitioning from Windows 7 to Windows 8, but in the long run there are many advantages in Windows 8.1.  It's all your choice as everyone has there own opinions.

wow Iv ehad windows 8 for a year now and i never realized that now I like 8 even more than I already did

What are some small ITX cases? And don't say prodigy, that thing is huge.
 
 
I'm going to be useing a ASUS p8Z77i-Deluexe with a noctua NH-L9 no graphics card. Smaller the better. Slimmer the better.

It's not bad to buy something used, but that seller has 0 feedbacks, I wouldn't trust him.

Also my WD 2TB Drive just shows 1860GB of free space...
 
I understand there is a certain percentage of loss but 20GB + 140 GB seems
much to me.

pretty sure you can daisy chain display port. i might be wrong. if you can do it over thunderbolt, why not display port.
