So a friend of mine is trying to move his desk to somewhere in the house where they can't run them you through that cord and I suggested a ax Wi-Fi card for him to buy with a directional antenna As we were setting it up I noticed that it was reading as an AC 3165 instead of an ax 200 and found out this is a pretty common scam since they are both physically identical took the heat sink off and even the sticker on the chip was 4 a x 200. I sent pictures to a body and he said it is a scam they put a different ship in there and renamed As he is about to send it back I'm thinking about telling him to get another router and using that as an access point in either wireless bridge mode or wireless extender mowed but I'm not really sure which mode would be best and if it would work She needs to be able to place a router on his desk plug in through Ethernet and have the router on does communicate with the main router wirelessly basically using the router as a Wi-Fi card bonus if the router he is using on his desk also extends the Wi-Fi range because the Wi-Fi is relatively weak in this location that's why I told him to get a Wi-Fi card with a directional antenna They have the updated Xfinity AC Wi-Fi router currently I'm not sure what would be able to connect with that in this manner if you do suggest something which I would like please try to keep it under $50

So I believe that one of my RAM sticks is Dead and possibly one or more of my sockets is dead Here is what ive tried. We are only taking ram here. 1-2-3-4 are my sockets will be from left to right a (* Ram stick 1) (^ ram stick 2) (1*)-2-3-4 No error 1-2-(3*)-4 ERROR (1*)-2-(3^)-4 ERROR (1^)-2-3-4 ERROR 1-(2*)-3-(4^) ERROR This leads me to believe that Slot 1 and ram stick 1 are fine. slot 3 appears messed up and so does stick 2. I think slots 1 and 2 are fine stick 1 is fine and stick 2 is error along with slots 3 and 4 BTW Ryzen 2600 Gskill 3200 mzh ram. Are each slots controlled separate or is it 1+3 2+4 or 1+2 and 3+4. just want to test earthing b4 i rma

So over the last few months I have been experiencing a lot of computer crashes while gaming. temps are fine for everything but today was playing overwatch and my fps was low, along with pubg. how should i test to see if it really is dying. BTW if the gpu is overclocked or if the power limit is increased at all the crashing happens more regularly the mouse on the desktop is stutter and overwatch was stuttering like hell

one thing to note that my gpu is not even boosting to its rated speed, at this point i'm almost certain that my GpU or my power supply is the issue at this point

My computer is blue screening time I play a video game the game crashes my computer locks up or it blue screens I've checked my Ram and all my drives my CPU overclock is stable so it must be my graphics card. I can't figure out why crashing I've tried using ddu to uninstall and reinstall NVIDIA drivers nothing has worked. I can't play a game without it crashing. I have a ryzen5 2600, and a GTX 980 TI.

I build computers for people and have my own company. if you get a 1060 you wont need a gpu upgrade. you can upgrade your cpu platform next. it would be a waste of money to get the 1050ti then upgrade your cpu then your gpu also. spend the 20-30 bucks and save 250 in the long run

just think the price difference for the performance you get. its worth it

spend the few extra $$$ for a 1060 3gb it has 2x the performance almost. its is worth it trust me

normally used gpus are fine. facebook market place often has some good deals and used gpus in the 1000 nvidia series. check it out

ive been happening for a couple months now every time I play a game it crashes to desktop with an error message or crashes the blue screen and I've had a couple different but I don't remember exactly what they were anyway I'm going to post my full system specs and all the errors are all the games I can find by the way all my thermals are completely fine I have good airflow in my case that was not the problem here. So I just bought a 1440p 165 Hertz monitor and everything is working fine when I go into a game then close the game it forces down to 1080p. when I try to change the setting it back and windows or an Nvidia control panel I'll click apply it will change 1440p for a second then it will go directly back to 1080P and I can't change it until I restart my computer any ideas what's going on?

Anyway to change affinity on the startup of games and tasks. I want to do this for over watch because the fps just tanks with any other cpu usage
