Barbados_Clemens's Achievements

  1. I personally have a MacBook Pro, iPad Air, and iPhone 5. As mentioned before it is design attention to detail that I enjoy. Yes I can have more powerful for cheaper but the fact I spend little to no time troubleshooting really is what I enjoy. I also have a PC desktop for gaming and heavier tasks. I also, unlike most people, enjoy the OSX and iOS software. It just works for me personally.
  2. If you go to System Preferences>Display>Scaled, then there should be options to change the default resolution. If you're wanting to under/overscan I believe that can only be done with you're connected to an external display.
  3. On my person I always carry my phone, wallet, keys, flash drive, pocket knife, headphones and pen. In my backpack (which is on my 90% of the time) I carry a 1 TB external HDD, battery bank, water bottle, various cables for phones and computers, my laptop, a tablet, and a light rain coat, some band-aids, extra pens, and a binder for all my my class work (I am currently working my B.S. in electrical engineering).
  4. I personally use google but here is an article from PCWorld about one of there editors who switched to Bing and why. http://www.pcworld.com/article/2685215/the-4-reasons-i-switched-from-google-to-bing.html
  5. One of my friends asked me if I could fix her computer because it was super slow, so slow to the point she actually bought a new computer. I opened it up and couldn't see the desktop because of all the popup add, on her desktop. I was able to get a virus and malware scan going somehow. She had over 700 items there were flagged as potential threats. I just looked at her and asked how this is even possible.
  6. Wish I could have given you actual answers, sorry about that man. Best luck.
  7. When you rotate the cup to where the ear pads are facing out and away from where your ears normally are. Such that the Audio Technica logo are facing inwards towards each other.
  8. I never said that you weren't able to. Just that a lot of the leg work has been done and discussed over there so it would be easier to just look at those past conversations. Also it has a larger user base so there is more knowledge to pull from. Just other resources to use.
  9. If it continues to be a problem I'd contact customer service and see what they say. But since it doesn't seem to interfere with the the sound quality then I'd just let it be.
  10. I would suggest you put like rubber feet or a piece of foam on them to reduce the amount of vibration. upload a pic when you do make them though.
  11. Oh no. Mine only click when I bring them all the way out. Where did you buy them at?
  12. To get ride of the static you're going to have to do your digital conversions outside of the case. so a USB DAC is your best solution. There are all kinds of USB DAC and DAC/AMP out there. Do a quick google search and check out head-fi.org or other audio forums to get into the details. I would recommend anything by Schiit or FiiO both make great products.
  13. Technically it is over your price range, but by $4 and I would recommend it. http://schiit.com/products/fulla It's from a company called Schiit (yes it's said just like you think it is). But sure awesome company with really solid products. It's a USB DAC/AMP combo with an adjustable pot, which is really awesome.
  14. No, because the CPU will only be sending the audio though either your sound card or to the onboard audio. No worries.
