I mean I have set up some Linux servers myself before. The company is only a couple people so I mean its not huge. Plus its for a personal friend. Setup should only be the initial setback. Plus once you learn about it, it would come in handy to know specifically how it was setup. I understand your concern though ^.^ -
Alright so I thought I would swing by here and see what other ideas people had. So basically I'm gonna be setting up a server and I was looking to do so with some sort of linux distro. Needs are pretty basic: - NAS stuff. Remote and onsite FTP with accounts (integration with email accounts for logon would be bless) - Managing backups for server-side and clients in ZFS back ups - RAID support - VPN integration option for outside use - control/admin panel for local and offsite use - Recommendation for firewall would be nice I have seen a decent amount use Cisco. Honestly don't know much about that stuff atm. I know some people recommended a $1000 one but just wondering if its necessary. - cloud sync options Also for email I have got used to running it with domain hosting you think it would be worth hosting it on the server as well? It looks almost identical to the EK. I really like it. What i love most it's part acrylic so you can see some of the liquid. I'm doing White and Purple. Purple being some accents and water color. It's going to look very nice.

So I am currently going to wait until June/July to see what nVidia does with the 980ti. Almost around the same time the 780 was released (in October) so technically the newer blocks from EK should be coming june/july. I have my heart set on a 980/980ti more the ti for the 6gb ram for SLI. this HOF 780ti block "EK-FC780 GTX Ti HOF V20" I am praying to god they make this exact or similar block for the 980/980ti. For those people waiting for EK blocks for the HOF 9xx series what do you want? full cover or more something like this. *all aboard the white hype train*

Hey guys I'm looking for a desktop solution that is an AMP/DAC. I was looking at these two because the E17 is a nice portable DAC and the desktop part of it is very appealing and I want the best of both worlds. I have a Asus Xonar DS 7.1 and I have heard spending lots of money on a sound card wont get you far. I have AKG 551's and love them to death. Am I looking at some improvements here? Also FLAC music is much used.

So I am thinking of starting to make gaming videos and stream games on twitch. I am looking to get pretty serious into this (3-4 times a week) and I wanted to know what you guys have seen or would like to see in current twitch streams. What makes a quality stream and keeps you watching? What makes you interested in subscribing to there stream? I have some other ideas I have to kind of separate myself from the pack like involving the gamers in playing with me and giving out in game rewards as well. I am looking for some feedback to help build on what I have gathered for experience watching and learning from other streamers. Greatly appreciated, Alex
