  1. Sounds amazing, but do you know if the motherboard can handle wifi6 module chip? And is the display port 1.2?
  2. You're correct about stadia and GeForce now (probably should've not included them in the topic) , but shadow would support high refresh rates Atleast for 1440p. I had one with 980ti but brother moved in so had to give him my gaming pc and room for his projects But as mentioned space is an issue, don't want to have a big block on the living room table.
  3. Budget (including currency): up to 800 Canadian rupees Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: cloud gaming (Shadow/stadia/GeForce now etc) Other details got a 1440p monitor capable of 144hz. Nothing matters as long as it would be able to output that refresh rate. The horse power is left for the cloud computing in the cloud. Guys I tried multiple mini boxed PCs and Intel sticks but most of them capped at 60hz and latest one I got Gigabyte Ultra Compact Mini PC/Intel UHD Graphics 600 ended up giving me 75 hz. Dimensions of the mini pc matters to me as my monitor and pc gonna be in the living room (it'll be up on a table) Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
  4. I originally wanted the 4790k cpu but they told me that that CPU is totally out and the best option to go for the 6700k since it would be shipped earlier.... so I actually had no options also can't cancel as the 520 cad cpu is non refundable +_+
  5. Hey guys I ordered almost entire Pc build pieces on December 4th from NCIX but till today the build is not finished and it is estimated to be built on the 14th of January (although they told me that it will be finished on the 28th of December). Is itnormal to take this long? I mean I know it was the holidays and all but to take 2 months to build a pc? should I do anything? try to get some discount? deals out of it? or just let it go? I won't be enjoying much of my PC now that I get it on the 14th to be honest since college starts again, I was hoping to get it 10 days before so that I get to binge before school starts. main reason behind delay is the i7 6700k.
  6. Ok done, canceled my first item and ordered the HyperX Cloud. thanks guys
  7. Hey guys, to start of, I am a gamer who loves to be emerged in a game and by that I mean that I either play a game at Ultra settings with anti Aliasing or not bother playing it at all until I upgrade my specs. Anywho, I noticed that my sound system (2.1 speakers) are not doing the "perfect" job and thus when I was doing research most youtubers suggested to go with headphones for a better experience over 2.1 or 5.1 speakers. My past experience with headphones was Sennheiser HD 201 Headphones which I hated since the volume seamed to stay low at max and everyone in the room next to me would hear what I was listening to (yikes). To summarize I need your help on deciding, is the HyperX II a much better option than the G430? There is a good deal on both of them with G430 sitting at 40 CAD (30 $) vs 95 CAD (70 $) for the HyperX II So should I go with the HyperX II? is it worth the 55 cad more? my ears usually get moist under the old headphones and I like something comfy, I really like the colors and ergonomics on the G430 but I am willing to sacrifice looks for a better quality.
  8. Hey guys, I saw this dealer on AliBaba Here on THIS link for 150$ GTX 980 ti. Of course first thought was this is a scammer. I am 85% sure he/she/it is a scammer but then I saw that the account on AliBaba is 6 years old, Gold certified Supplier and the Company location is authenticated and audited I tried to look online on google if the company or the person selling is a scammer but can't find anything.... What do you guys think? Is there a way to check for real?
  9. yeah I am using Pcpartpicker and it seems that everything fits perfectly! Only main issue am concerned about is the heat output and noise levels. Compared with the Fractal Design R4 is there some sort of comparison? Would the FPS be affected a lot? do you have any specs on how bad it becomes at the cost of comparability?
  10. True, thanks but I still think that a max of 32 GB is all I need for the near future + I'll be only gaming on it so not much inputs for me
  11. Hey guys, trying to build a new PC when I was thinking about building a "console like" PC, I LOVED the look on the Lian-Li PC-Q19B but it seems like it stopped shipping for some reason. Anyways, My first choice when building a PC was the Fractal Design Define R4 for the mid build, however I realized that I won't be using more than 32 GB max (at least for the upcoming 3 years) so why should I get the big motherboard and thus thought about compact cases. Point is, I like to have a compact PC where I can just shove it somewhere while playing video games from it or streaming Netflix using either my chrome cast or Steam link (for game streaming) onto my TV. Can you guys help me out in picking a "console like" case with these specs I have, of course while maintaining a healthy temperature for the PC, I'll most likely not overclock anything since I need the cooling. Here are my specs: GTX 980 TI G1 gaming from Gigabyte (it's a bit bigger than the usual) Intel I7 6700K 16 GB DDR4 1000W corsair power supply NOTE: Nothing is bought yet.... beside the GTX 980 TI I got it for 400$ so I had to buy it Thanks guys!
  12. What about GIGABYTE Z170XP-SLI? I had it as my first pick, if coloring and design is the only difference is this 1 ok? the reason I chose it, is the fact that it costs 150 CAD instead of the others at 200
  13. is there a site which compares motherboards with each other? I find it harder to open each manufacturers site and do it manually
