Having been on both sides of Windows vs Mac OS X, the Mac's lack of supported programs and price for performance ratio are the 2 things that can draw someone back.

I see all these pro Microsoft Windows here, and then I am here on a Mac. I do believe that you can have an eyefinity setup. On the back I think there are 2 thunderbolt ports. If you get an adapter you can setup any display, or just get a thunderbolt display.

And if you have never used Mac OS X, it is amazing, no joke.

I would have said a Surface Tablet, but since your price range is under $400, I found these:
This only has 2GB, but seems good for the price: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-pavilion-x2-10-1-net-tablet-pc-intel-atom-quad-core-4-core-1-33-ghz-2-gb-windows-8-1-with-bing-ash-silver/9635112.p?id=1219427386511&skuId=9635112
    I also found this: http://bit.ly/1OacSLt
These aren't detachable, but still very good.
This is detachable, but only 2GB of RAM: http://bit.ly/1JC69ci
Hope this helped! I would look at Toshiba Satellite for sure!

GoPro Hero 4 Session. Something else.

Most people have one issue with this GoPro, no 4k video. For the same, or near the same, price you can get a GoPro that has 4k video. For myself, 1440p is fine. Heck, I use an iPhone, 720p is ok.

    Session vs Silver

    Size Comparison: http://imgur.com/kYUpBNo

Yeah, the session is pretty small to say the least. I can’t forget to say this is a cube, not a rectangle. Interesting.

The Session is 50% smaller and 30% lighter than the Silver, yet it is water proof without a casing. And that is the main selling point. It is impressive what they did with the session. What do we lose though? Well a removable battery, a display to see whats going on, 4k, and a lot of money. If i was in the market for a GoPro, the Silver is the way I am going. It shoots 4k, has better quality, and is the same price.

    Video Quality.

It may shoot 1440p, but the color quality isn’t top notch. It doesn’t impress me. Blacks aren’t too black, greens are sad, and it just looks muddy and disappointing. For a $400, it’s not too impressing. If you want great quality and vibrant colors, the Silver is the way to go, not only shooting 4k, but the same price.

    This explains everything: http://imgur.com/oCHzBsE

    Audio Quality:

    Bad.

Final rating: 6/10. This seems like a step back for GoPro. Its brother, the GoPro Hero4 Silver, is the same price, shoots 4k, and has amazing colors and quality. I feel like I compared this to the Silver too much, but what else could you do. If you want a camera that has near-par quality, bad microphone, but lightweight, small, and durable, this is your camera. If you have no worry about size and weight, and just want great quality, and 4k shooting, go with the Silver. I would not recommend the Session to a friend, unless they wanted light and small.

This really feels like a comparison…
