  1. I just ordered these parts, and they are currently shipping Specs: Fractal Design Define S i7 4790k @ stock speeds Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3 Gigabyte Z97X-UD3H EVGA Supernova GS 650w EVGA GTX 550 Ti 2GB***REUSING FROM OLDER BUILD, WILL UPGRADE SOON 8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM 1600MHz (2x4GB)***REUSING FROM OLDER BUILD Samsung 850 Evo 120GB Crucial M4 120GB***REUSING FROM OLDER BUILD WD Caviar Black 1TB 7200RPM***REUSING FROM OLDER BUILD My case has 2 fans, one intake and one output. Is it worth it to invest in another intake fan of the same model and run them both at half the RPM that the one fan was running at prior to installing the second fan? Would this make my system quieter? Also, I just came from an AMD FX-6100 @ 4.2GHz, and it maxed out at 55C under 100% load. People are saying my i7 will be around 80C under full load. Around 80 seems like quite alot. Are these reasonable temperatures? I was always under the impression that my old 6100 was a more power hungry chip, but it gave much lower temperatures. Thanks for anyone who chooses to help!
  2. I've been reading around online that this cooler keeps my CPU in the 70s under full load. Coming from my FX-6100 OC@4.2GHz, that CPU with a Hyper 212 Plus stayed around 55C under full load. I was under the impression that the FX was a more power hungry chip than this i7. Is it the cooler? Or is the i7 supposed to run at this temperature. 70C seems really scary.
  3. GPU was from my old build. I am going to reuse it to save a bit of cash until I see a good sale for a better GPU.
  4. 144Hz monitor, and people say the game feels much smoother, regardless of the amount of FPS you are getting above your monitor's refresh rate.
  5. I just came from a FX-6100 paired with the same 550 Ti. I got around 200 FPS. But I hear CSGO is pretty CPU dependent. Like 80% CPU and 20% GPU. Is this true? Will I notice a large improvement with my new i7?
