  1. Hi all, I was playing GTA V last weekend and the motherboard that I had refused to boot after next power up giving the error "99" which after some googling people seem to think that it means dead mobo. anyways today I have set up with a new mobo and am now not getting any video output from 2 different GPUs. Got a feeling that it could be a power supply issues, but just wanted to get a second guess at it? Any ideas... Dan
  2. Nothing stuck in the output of the card
  3. Fans are spinning fine, will look for pins now
  4. As the title says, my old XFX 7950 has no video output when plugged into my computer. I upgraded my GPU to a GTX 970, and am now going to sell the card, and was wondering whether there was any quick way to fix the issue? The cards seems to be working fine apart from this issue If not I will sell the card as is for a lower price. Thanks!
  5. Oh ok, may as well just go with the DDR4 then, looks like the bank account it about to take a smack hahaha
  6. Thanks for the uber quick reply, glad to know I won't have to get rid of my trusty DDR3 just yet!
  7. I can't seem to find a simple answer for this online with articles saying one thing to another. So, will the Z170 motherboards support DDR3 in any form? As I know that DDR4 is physically different Either way I'm planning to get away from AMD, so I would just rather know so that I can budget it Cheers
  8. So the answer seems pretty clear, thanks for the decision help people!
  9. I'm currently using an FX8350 with a really bad asrock mobo, which I was planning to replace. However, I really want to swap to intel, as I've had bad experience with AMD lately. My question is, should I just go Haswell or should I wait for Skylake (Which is only a few days) Also what kind of performance gains will I see moving from an 8350 to something like a 4690? Running a GTX970 STRIX
