  1. yeah thanks for pointing that out. Well im good for now, it works off of my mobo, i had to install VGA drivers. probably not buying any adapters since im not gonna do dual monitor gaming.. Haven't experienced stuttering or anything with browsing the internet and editing wich is what im gonna be utelizing the 2nd monitor for. Also little side question , when i lock my pc the 2nd monitor goes black, any idea on how to have it on with a lockscreen wallpaper ? Microsoft disabled this in win10 sadly so any 3rd party software that you know of that can solve this issue?
  2. I bought a sapphire R9 390 wich has hdmi , displayport, mini displayport and a dvi-D port, excuse me for that lol i get confused at times.. not really a computer guy either i just built one with the help of some of the members on this forum Sorry!!!
  3. ive only found dvi-d to vga adapters, literally no dvi-i to vga.. and my gpu only has 2 dvi-i aswell as hdmi and DP
  4. I've installed the vga drivers for my mobo, And this is just temporary. I have alot of schoolwork where i write an assignment while reading something and i think it will be handy to have my browser with info on one monitor and word on the other. Anyway its working Thanks for quick response! For now i dont think i'll mind the stuttering
  5. Hi, So i've found this rather old BenQ monitor, a 1080p 60Hz monitor. BenQ G2411HDA to be exact. Unfortunatly it only has 1 VGA input and thats it. My R9 390 GPU does not have one of those but my MSI Z97S krait edition motherboard does. My question is : Can i run dual monitors with the BenQ g2411hda plugged into my motherboard , while my samsung SyncMaster 2333 is plugged into my GPU? I'm buying new monitors soon, not sure when. Dual monitors would be great, i read some posts about this and it seems to work for a bunch of people. I plugged in the benq into my mobo but it says 'no signal' ; what should i turn on/off in my bios settings? One last thing: the benq is analog (vga) , while the samsung is digital. Is this an issue? Thanks and have a good one lads!
  6. i'll see if those are available in stores near me, thanks!
  7. I'll check out all of those, they are probably a better option since they have those available in almost every computer store.
  8. Thanks , i'll check it out!
  9. Yes, to be honest i only chose the finalmouse because i heard alot of good things about+ it was made by people who actually play the game i play (CS : GO) . Might be a dumb marketing technique wich i fell for lol. Would you recommend Mionix Castor ?
  10. Hi, So i got a new pc recently, wich by the way , some people from this forum helped me figure out what to get . Like the title says im looking for new peripherals, i've been playing csgo with this cheapo 5€ mouse and this logitech k120 keyboard for such a long time now, didnt really matter before (was playing csgo @20 fps lowest settings 720p) . Nowadays my mouse sometimes spazzes out and the buttons on my keyboard dont react at all, really annoying in game . So now my question , does anyone have experience with any of these products? Keyboard : Ducky shine 4 (cherry mx browns) Mouse : FinalMouse / similar product -> Does anybody know how to ahold of these in Europe? Headset : Sennheiser hd 558 + mic (have been thinking about a modmic4) That's it folks! Have a lovely day!!
  11. Hi, I posted here before looking for a good setup, finally bought it! now just a good monitor. This is whats available to me https://www.alternate.be/Hardware/Monitoren/Gaming-monitoren , if someone recommends something that is not available here, i will look for another place that sells them (if the product is worth it) budget : im looking to spend anywhere around 300-500 , also i got %% off of BenQ monitors, but if there is another monitor with a diffrent brand that is actually better for the price, i'll take a look! Thanks in advance! Also ive got a saphhire r9 390 so if it has freesync i'll defenitly take a look! Side question , whats the diffrence between IPS and other types of panels? wich one is the best ? does it make a big diffrence? Have a great day!
  12. exactly, but win7 is already installed, i thought putting the hdd in the new machine would work. anyway, i'm just going to format the hdd and install win10 off a bootable usb drive. thanks
  13. Neither, asked a friend and he suggested i tried those. I'm gonna look for a copy of win7 around the house since i suspect i do know where it located. That should solve it, is this the best option?
  14. Nothing really, i've tried changing the sata mode, but it did not work so i put it back on AHCI, i've tried using RAID and IDE mode.
