noor3325's Achievements

  1. Im buying a whole new system cause its a B150 platform
  2. So i decided to switch from my i5 6500 to either a 6700K or a 6800K and i saw hardwarecanucK's video where the there is only a marginal performance boost or even in some case the 6700K actually performs better. I wanna Know what is the better option for me? I use After Effects at 4K and i was wondering if the price premium is worth it. I doubt i would need more that 64gb Ram. I also multitasK quite a lot, I Keep photoshop, Illustrator and chrome while i edit Videos
  3. I need USB 3 on my old MacBook and I found a few thunderbolt to USB adapters but I also need the thunderbolt port to connect my HDMI monitor with an adapter. Is there a cheap docking solution or better yet a thunderbolt 1 splitter so I can use two adapters for my needs?
  4. I am planing of upgrading my computer and wanted to know if i should spend the extra bucks on an m.2 drive (SAMSUNG 850 EVO M.2 250GB), get a Samsung 850 Evo 250GB or get a pretty generic one like the Kingston SSDNow UV400 240G. My use case would be to set it as a boot drive with all my programs, Mostly After Effects. Would i benifit from the extra speed of m.2?
  5. I use the lga 1151 socket and I use team elite ram sticks
  6. In what configuration? 3 x 8gb? Or 2 x 8gb and 2 x 4gb?
  7. I use after effects and so I almost always run out of ram, I also simultaneously open illustrator and Photoshop and chrome while editing most of the time
  8. On many occasions I have gotten warnings from windows that I don't have enough RAM, it currently shows that I use up all 16gb that I have, PS I use after effects more
  9. I currently have 2 x 8gb and was going to add another 8gb, so in the future I can add in another 8gb
  10. I currently have 16gb of ram was wondering if 24gb of ram is bad for my computer? I heard it decreases the ram speed to single channel, would that be a noticeable difference. Ps. I mainly edit videos on my computer
  11. So my i5 6500 isnt exactly going to be a bottle neck and would actually end up using all 32 gigs?
  12. I don't know how to do so, First im hearing of a Paging file. Could you please explain what that is?
  13. i was wondering if Team Elite Plus 8GB DDR4 is a good ram module? is it safe to get or am i better off going for the big dogs like corsair?
  14. The problem is i am really short on cash and want a quick fix, would ram upgrades have an effect?
