Taking into account that you can get at least $130 for that GTX 970, making this 1070 a super-value event.

I think the main thing is it's pretty much confirmed they're honouring them.

Arrived in the mail today, 2 days earlier than the most recent update they gave me and a whole week earlier than the original estimate. Definitely real. ☺️ Congrats to everyone that got one, they are on their way.

I REALLY Hope it pans out for you guys.  I got lucky enough - Newegg canceled but gave me a $50 credit..so was a gamble and I still won something!

Check your order status on Amazon and make sure the order is still there. It could just be that your order was placed a bit later, so there's been no stock delivery update for it.
At least one person on Reddit said their card has shipped, so I'm feeling positive. I don't see how Amazon could honour some of the orders, but not others.

Yep, I got the same email about 6 hours ago, but my new estimated delivery range is "Thursday, October 25, 2018 - Tuesday, October 30, 2018" (for AmazonGlobal Standard Shipping to Scotland). Hype!

Thank you. I've been trying to keep my hopes in check as well, because I've also ordered stuff in this situation before and have had the order canceled. But it's now 9:30 AM the next day and the order is still listed as valid, I think you are correct that if there's any chance it will go through it's because it's Amazon. This is kind of a weird case because unlike those situations where the price is off by a factor of 10, this price was well below market value but still within the realm of reasonableness.  So, fingers crossed!

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered one before the listing was removed. I don't expect it to actually be honoured, but since it was sold directly from Amazon, there's possibly a slight chance it might theoretically go through.
 
FWIW, I was one of the people who jumped on the bandwagon in March 2016, when Outlet PC listed the ASUS Strix 970 on their site for $35 (instead of $350). I placed an order for 2 cards, and got the confirmation email. Then I got another email from them after about 2 hours, explaining the pricing mistake and giving a refund. I expect the same thing to happen again in this case, but if I actually get the card through, I'm offering a big hat tip to @stellarshy
