It definitely looks nice, but apple is marketing it all wrong. I would buy this as a tablet to watch movies on, play games on, and read on, but never to replace a laptop

Don't use a Corsair CS650M with a high end build like this. The Corsair RM650 is a good PSU for a build like this

    A few things,
First, I would recommend going with a 390 instead of a 970 because it has more VRAM which is good for games and is just overall more powerful for the money than the 970
Second, I would go with the 6600k instead of the 6500 because of it's overclockability (yes, I know Skylake chips without the K can be overclocked, but it's not as easy and more risky than just buying a K series chip) and even if you are only going to use a stock cooler you can upgrade the cooler in the future and then overclock, giving you more performance without having to buy a new CPU
Also, just for gaming you only need 8GB, so if yo have a tight budget you can use the money you save on RAM to get the 6600K over the 6500.
Last thing, what case and power supply are you planning on using?

380 is in a different league than the 960, so definitely get the 380 if you have a choice

Classifieds was removed because it wasn't compatible with this version of the forum software. We are looking into alternative options though, and hope to have something soon.

jcastro_805 reacted to afyeung in Fury Nano vs 390X?
The nano and the 390x are in different price brackets though. The 390x is a bit below $400 while the nano is $500. I'd spend a tiny bit more and just get the Fury unless its for an itx build.

It doesn't make sense to buy a 390x at this point. It's an inefficient GPU based off of a 2+ year old architecture. It's powerful, but it will be outclassed by the newer GPUs in both efficiency and performance. Not to mention it's not that great over the 390 in terms of price to performance. The only reason why I have a 390x is because I got it for $150 new. But I still had to spend an arm and a leg to keep the darn thing cool.

jcastro_805 reacted to TidaLWaveZ in I'm not sure how much wattage I need for my pc
NVidia recommends at least 600w for a single 980ti system, and 250w TDP just for the video card.

A solid 80+ 850w PSU is the way to go.  EVGA 850 G2 is my recommendation.
