  1. So I just checked my bios I forgot I still have it OCed but it’s at 4.6 ghz with 1.225v on the core with XMP enabled but I just tried it at stock using a blender render to test temps and the temps were hitting 80s. OCed the temps were in the 90s
  2. So I’m using a Corsair H150i Pro in a Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic. The radiator is mounted on the side of the case with triple intake fans on the top. The radiator is exhausting the air out of the case. The pump and fans were set to “extreme” in iCue and the pump RPM was about 2200-2400 with the fans spinning at ~1700 RPM. Should I be able to OC with the H150i?
  3. The AIO is plugged into a USB header and the pump and fans are being controlled by iCue. I believe I have the fans plugged into the AIO so it’s controlling all of it. I may just remove the cooler from iCue and have the motherboard control the cooler. I know those programs like that can be a little “unique.”
  4. This was what I was thinking I was going to have to do. The only problem with custom is the expense but I think the outcome should be worth it.
  5. I’ve made sure it was tight twice just to be sure.
  6. Hey everyone, pretty new to the forum but I'm having some issues with my new build. I have the new core i9 10900x being cooled by a Corsair 360 AIO and my temps during cinebench runs reach 90c. My thoughts are that is far too high for being water cooled but I've also never dealt with a CPU with a TDP of 165w so I'm a little lost on this. I reapplied thermal paste just to be sure I had an even spread. I also set the pump and fans to 100% which reduced the heat some but only by about 5-10c so it was still running in the 80s. Any help on this would be great! Thank you.
  7. Okay sweet, I'm new to virtualization and ESXi so I'm trying to learn a lot. This stuff is really interesting to me.
  8. I have the ESXi server for testing and messing around with, so I am skeptical about storing data on it in case I mess something up on the ESXi server. So would another ESXi server be better than a FreeNAS, or something similar, server? @samcool55
  9. Hello everyone, this is my first time using the LTT Forum so hopefully, I get everything right. I currently have a Dell R710 running ESXi and a couple virtual machines including a VM of Windows Server 2016. My question for everyone is this should I deal with using Windows File Share in the Windows server VM for use on my local network or buy another dedicated server for uses as a physical NAS instead of the virtual one? Also, I already have 4 three TB Seagate SAS drives I could populate another server with. I'm looking for something reliable, fast and fairly straightforward to set up.
  10. Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew of a white motherboard with the LGA 1150 socket. I am looking for a good motherboard for a future color coordinated build. I am a gamer so it needs to have lots of USB and SATA ports. Thanks in advance. I am also new to this forum thing so I'm not sure if I posted this in the right place. So my bad if I didn't
