Long story short, my MB appears to be going & I have Manjaro KDE Plasma, do I need to reinstall aftwr I put the new one in?

Nope, it is my GPU in sig. My CPU has no int. GPU. I even booted up the rescue boot disk Aomue (SP) did, It is Windows PE I think. That didn't even boot. My sys has the hardware KDE needs, nothing is wrong with the USB, DVD or install on the SSD, all boot fine on another sys. A guy who worked for Cornelll as a IT guy even said over the phone, sound like the MB. Just my luck, got into a alpha for a game today. My sig has my board, oddly Windows is still working, but only because it is on, I don't think I could install anything on this, well OS wise in the OS I can. The windows drive works on both SATA cables, but no on the linux drive. If I try to boot it, it just boots the windows drive. What is a good util to diagnose the MB? That drice doesn't even boot up now in this sys. If I take it out it will boot fine on the other in the house. So the install is fine, it is hardware it seems, my gpu is fine if I play a game, so that is fine.

So I had Manjaro Mate (sounds like a Linux issue, but it isn't) anyway I decided to try KDE Plasma. So first I installed it so I could boot to that or Mate. Manjaoes site says issues could happen, but I was going to get KDE how I wanted, then ininstaall Mate, but it ended up wjere I would boot to it, to a frozen DE. So went to USB that fifn't even get into KDE, started loading it up, but just a blank green/blue screen (a bit color blind, not sure). Same with DVD, they both worked fine on anther older sys in the house. I figured take the drive out, install KDE on the other sys, it worked, not on this sys. So I thought to try the aomi (sp) backup rescue vootup USB. I think it is Windows PE for restoring windows backups no go. I thhink if this MB was on a sys with no OSes installed, it would be useless, you couldn't install any OS to it. Plus Windows 11 has not kept the time correct for a while, so it is the MB.

Any freeshard hardcore full loot PvP servers? I am so tryying UO Outlands sounds so cool on videos, but those graphics. I just can't see good like I want & the outlands dev I have on discord takes ofense at the mention of the EC. I know you can play for gree now, but to own property in game, you have to pay 12 I think sub. 24 years later.

Well I think my MB is starting to die, USB liveboot for Manjaro KDE will not bring up the DE, same with Opt drive. A blue/green (a bit color blind) comes up like the DE is about to come up, just stays blank, Mate doesn't boot into DE also, a oddness with a graphic in the screen color. On a oldeer sys they all boot fine, the DE loasd up & all is good. I even took the drive with Linux already on it out, installed Manjaro KDE on anther sys then put it back onto this sys, same thing. Well will it be a good one? This is so hard, the rating system for coolers need to be listed as the watts it will cool well. Be so easy, a person would just look at the product page & know whith out researching. Which is not a big ask.

So the case is the prob.? it has the big fan taking almost the whole front (SG05). Should I go down to a 5600 cpu? Good point. The bottom panel isn't vented I don't thing. Ok, as long as I am safe I don't fry it.

I have a SG05, so I need low profile. Why do they not make cases like this, with the PSU laying on its side opisite end of the MB than the expasion card(s)?

Sec. boot disabled, the Manjaro site said you have to pick some option before burn. Hopefully that is it. Odd though the pld sys boots iy up fine, I am about ready to give up for now atleast. Nope, the Blue ray is the same. I can boot into linux just fine. It is Manjaro roo, so that won't boot with sec. boot on. It seems something is up with my MB, but I have no idea what to search on google. MSI Performance Gaming AMD Ryzen 1st and 2nd Gen AM4 M.2 USB 3 DDR4 HDMI Display Port Mini-ITX Motherboard (B450I GAMING Plus AC) I don't think that even has Sec. boot.

So on anther system in the house a usb stick with a OS live install booted up fine, this one front & back USB The OS didn't boot. Hoe do I check my ports. My USB Keyboard is fine though. The USB flash drive is good, we checked it a few before, so it is not the stick. Windows never spits out and USB error though.

I did, I had it, but it was freez9ng conflicting with Mare maybe. If I can get it how I want it, I will delete Mate. Unless that will leave some mess behind.

I have Manjaro Mate & would like to install KDE to check it out, is this possible? The one I did already will not respond. So I need to start fresh.
