Not surprising, but a bit odd we're hearing this a month out from the initial expected shipping date.

@FlpDaMattressWeird, I didn't get that email yet. I pre-ordered the mid-tier model. I wonder if it's regional (the email notifications).

Not surprising because of the shortages, glad I didn't pre-order one though.

BIOS has been on the latest version for a few months now, Reseated the CPU but no dice.

I wouldnt judge it if only it were single colour and not rainbow puke tho '-'
 
Ive actually experienced this before but my ram slot was abit dusty so it malfunctioned
 
I was able to fix it by getting some 99% isopropyl alcohol and using a spray head or whatever you call em from those spray bottles i sprayed my ram slots, covered them in tissue and waited 24h and it works again
 
You may also want to dunk abit in your cpu socket cause ive also found that when i ram error the cpu socket might be dirty so i tend to dunk some isopropyl on it and after waiting it works again
 
 
And yes as long as you dont turn your pc on isopropyl alcohol is safe
 
Oh yea just realised that ive been doing this dunking without even removing the cmos battery, my boards still work but thats prob just because my decade old boards are just as bulletproof as my cpus

Depends on what you want to do with it, I have an RX580 8gb (basically the same thing) and it's good for 1080p mid to high settings. I paid $170 USD for mine on ebay and that was hardly a deal at the beginning of 2020

Is this a fresh install of Windows? Try reinstalling the display driver.

Anyone selling "untested" has tested it and found it not to work.

Currently got a XFX RS RX 480 myself, and while its the MOST shittiest model of them all and it IS dying on me, it has been a "great" card whilst gaming. I can take on 1080p games at mid/high settings. And with the fact that the GPU prices is HIGH AF rn, id say its an good deal if its one of the better models released. Do you happen to know which one it is? Manufacturer? Model name? Vram size? or do they just give you the bare minimum info? I bought mine used for about half of that about a year or two ago. 
 
And as @FlpDaMattress stated above, there is absolutely no difference between a rx 480 - 580 and 470-570 except higher TDP and a SLIGHT clock speed increase. So while a 580 can go for loads of money, you can still get almost the same performance but for a cheaper price.
 
Tho id like to get my hands on something new too, as i keep getting either VBIOS or Driver crashes doing legit nothing. But money is a problem.

Testing the original Vive's and Oculus's is tricky if you're trying to do this in anywhere other than a room in a house as both devices require the satellites to be positioned and powered.
 
I suspect you'll need to take it on faith and hope the seller is a reasonable chap and will accept a return / refund if its faulty.
 
I sold both my Vive and Oculus a while ago they worked perfectly even after 3 years

OK, calm down, sit, have a drink and start again. Make sure you follow the manual closely, w/o skipping steps or taking shortcuts. Pay particular attention to permissions, an ordinary user cannot access anything owned by root, unless specifically permitted to do so.

It looks like your trying to mount the drive as /dev. Don't do that, mount it somewhere like /mnt/hdd. /dev is used for system files

Ok, I'm confused about this screwdriver.  I bought one from Banggood and it had gearing problems and would instantly shut down. Didn't even need torque. It would spin for a half-second, then stop.
 
They sent a replacement which works, but... any torque on the thing and the unit just stops.  I have to basically manually loosen or tighten the screws, then I can use the 'power' mode to get them the rest of the way out.  I mean you can stop this thing with your fingers pinching it!  Yes, I played with all the torque settings.  Yes, I even updated to the newer firmware that had 1-4 and A and P as well.  All of them I can easily stop.
 
In contrast, I bought the WowStick for one quarter the price, and that thing has torque to spare! What am I missing?!
 
I mean getting one bad unit is one thing, but two??!

It's a trend with drop and massdrop most massdrop original products that are in the electronics space tend to have an issue or two on the first few runs. Usually just build issue not something this dramatic. I would make a Reddit post or headfi post and see who else is having the problem

you pretty much seem to have done all you can do. hope for the best if nothing works make a reddit thread complainign tweet to them make some forum posts on other audio forums. Drop has a pretty ok return policy within the US and their customer service is ok to pretty awful.
