  1. Thank you for commenting. A 970 could max all settings in the games I am trying to play. Thanks for commenting though.
  2. Thank you for commenting. The silverstone psu is semi passive and the cooler master silencio is very quiet and compact as well. The define r5 is a bit too big and expensive. I know that raid 0 will not help gaming performance significantly but the process of transfering data files will help. Though I will consider A 970 is incredible overkill for what I want to do. With the way things are headed 16gb won't be overkill (though I will admit that it is right now) The ssd in raid 0 and the 16gb of ram will not equate to enough extra money for a 970, though possible a 960. I am still thinking that an r7 370 or a 750 ti would be good. Also I realise that Vsync lag won't be an issue on these less demanding games. So using Vsync, ~40 fps is fine. An r7 370 or 750 ti is the decision I need help making. Thank you, Sincerely Taylor Borie
  3. The xeon is $272, the i7 4790k is $340. The games I want to play are an indie game (transistor) and a game from 1998 (fallout 2) and as for hyper light drifter, it is pixelated. I don't need to overclock the processor and I can't afford the r9 360x. Thank you for the advice but I need help chosing between the 750 ti and the r7 370 2gb. Thank you Sincerely, Taylor Borie
  4. First, thank for commenting. I need the xeon because it has a lower tdp than the i5 and so my cpu cooler will have to run less so it will be quieter. I also need a strix or at least a semi passive card so it can run quieter. I have ADHD and the noise is distracting. The 960 strix is just out of my price range, but the r7 370 2gb is in my price range. If it is between the r7 370 2gb strix and the 750 ti stirx which should I get? Thank you Sincerely, Taylor Borie
  5. Yeah that laptop seems good. Don't buy the one with the ssd, buy a sandisk ssd plus or a kingston v300 240gb instead if that saves you money.
  6. Fewer faster cores are better for gaming. More slower cores are better for stuff like video editing, mass data compiling and server stuff. But with a 500 dollar difference get whichever is cheaper, as you won't see a huge difference.
  7. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3Q9BRB Above is the parts list for my pc I am going to build. I play fast paced yet reletively non-demanding action adventure and Action Rpg games like: Transistor, Fallout 2, And (hopefully soon) Hyper Light Drifter I will have a 2560x1440p monitor and I hope that my gpu can run those at that resolution at 60 fps or higher to avoid tearing (monitor doesn't support g-sync) along with other general concerns. Please write if you can. Thank you Sincerely, Taylor Borie
