I have connected my Pioneer PL-990 turntable (here) directly to my Krk Rockit 5s (here) through rca connectors as the turntable is preamped and the speakers are active. The problem is even with the volume on the speakers turned down as low as they will go (-30dB) the volume is still loud enough that it can't be played without annoying the neighbours. Is there any problem with adjusting the volume after it has come out of the preamp and before it goes into the amped speakers (I think this is called line level but im not an audio buff so idk) and if possible can you suggest any equipment that would allow me to do so? Thanks in advance

I have recently acquired a LG 25UM57 monitor very cheap from a friend. I plan to mount this above my three monitors as an overhead however, my three monitors are not vesa mountable ergo they are on their original stands. I am having a lot of trouble finding a reasonably priced Vesa desktop mount that is able to lift the 21:9 monitor above the three screens (They are ~39cm in height). Any suggestions or is there a large possibility that I will have to mount the screen to the wall?

xbox one controller drivers for pc not working

The 360 signed drivers do not show at all ? I can only see a driver for a sidewinder gamepad ? -
I have installed the microsoft x64 drivers for my xbox one controller, but when I plug it into my pc windows says that there are no drivers installed for this device. I have tried to repair the drivers and have even uninstalled then reinstalled them but to no avail.

Thanks! The NZXT cooler comparisions show it really is a lot quieter than the h100i GTX so ill defiantly pick that up instead. I do think I prefer the H440 so I might go with that instead though and Zotac looks greyish so Ill get the EVGA (and I have heard the Zotac is louder).

What do you recommend instead as I had a preference for this card because it allowed me to keep my black and white theme?

I did a lot of research into which 980ti I would get and according to the comparisons that I have seen the gigabyte is only louder by 4dBa under load. Before I begin ordering parts for my new pc. I wanted to have some assistance in double checking that all the parts involved are suitable. I was primarily worried about the power supply wattage that I have chosen as the info page for the gigabyte 980ti states that at least a 600w power supply is needed. I have recently purchased a set of CableMod E-series cables for my EVGA Power supply. Due to my location I am not able to pick up a set of cable combs from Cablemod themselves. Are the CableMod cables compatible with both 3mm and 4mm combs or will I have to measure them?

Planning Black and White Theme Pc Build

I am planning a black and white themed pc for my third build but I am having trouble deciding on a motherboard to go with it. The obvious suggestion would be the MSI Z97A Krait Edition but I have heard a large amount of complaints with the dual channel memory failing as well as a lack of features. I have failed to find another black and white motherboard (and I am sure that there is not another), so I might settle on a solid black one. Can anyone suggest a good solid black motherboard or indeed any one that would work with my theme for under £200 ($310)?
