Cause it's so damn easy to switch out a broken pcie port?
Also space is an issue, even with pcie 1x
And it's much more convenient when it comes to adapters.

then they moved to the new office

then at some point they decided they liked turnip best and now use that all the time as the "extra" option in polls

I just wanted to say thank you again for all your amazing videos and all that y'all do to support the tech community. I've been in the interview process with Oracle and during the 2nd interview today I was able to reference back to my love and passion for techie stuff and LTT. The guy I was interviewing with hadn't heard of LTT but jumped onto the LTT site and YouTube channel while we were on the phone and really liked what he saw. 
 
I'm being scheduled for a 3rd interview in this long hiring process!
 
So thank you guys, you may have helped me get a job with an amazing company.

windows+R > type "msconfig" and hit enter > go to "boot" tab > delete the entry that doesnt say "current"

For me, it was (almost) flawless.
 
Aside from a hiccup with Windows Update while downloading Windows 10, the entire installation process went through smoothly (although lengthy) without a hitch.
 
I literally didn't do anything after initiating the upgrade. I just let it do what it needed to do and got myself a drink, snacks and watched some videos on my phone.
 
Once its done, it's really stable. I'm impressed so far.

As long as PC temps arent' crazy fine, you can run it 24/7. I've done that for 3 years now and it's done no damage to my PC. It's better for your HDDs to be constantly running rather than keep starting up and powering down. That can reduce their life.

I never understood why people leave it on all the time. Especially if you have an SSD. I can boot into windows from sleep only 5 seconds faster than if it were off so it doesn't matter too much. I also unplug it whenever theres a thunderstorm.
