NPAPI (Netscape Plugin API) is a plugin that is used by the ESN/Uprise created Battlelog. The plugin causes a lot of issues (source: Google). The plugin has been disabled now, but can be reenabled. By September 2015, it will be completely disabled in Chrome.
 
This explains why EA (via Uprise) have decided to make a new server browser for SWBF. Not because they want to improve the experience, but because they have to.
 
What is also amazing is how EA, DICE, and Uprise did nothing about this issue until Chrome 42 was released. The removal of the NPAPI plugin was announced a year ago

Let's recap for a second. On April 11th, 2014 Marty O' Donell, the man behind the music of Halo and Destiny, was fired from Bungie without cause. Bungie then chose not to pay for vacation time that Marty had not used unless he waived his equity interest. Of course, Marty sued Bungie.

Fast forward to September 4th, 2015 and Marty won the lawsuit. Bungie now has to pay $142,500 to Marty. In addition to this, Marty also gets to keep his "considerable" amount of stock in the company. Unfortunately though, Marty cannot publish any music from Destiny unless he gets Bungie permission, and let's be realistic, that's never going to happen.

The reason why NVIDIA compared the 900 to the 600 series is because it was a full architectural jump - that was their logic at least. 700 series was still the same Kepler as the 600 series - even GK110 wasn't much different from GK104 and GK106. Mafia III is officially in development, 2K has confirmed.
 
Details are thin on the ground at the moment, though more will apparently be revealed at Gamescom, where the official announcement trailer will be revealed on August 5 at 5am PT / 8 am PT / 1pm GMT.

The game already has a teaser image, though the trailer won’t appear online until the 5th of August, which also happens to be the same day as Microsoft’s Xbox conference for Gamescom, meaning there might be some form of partnership there, though that is pure speculation. Sony is not having a Gamescom briefing this year, so that rules them out.

2 times in my life have i felt sad for a character dying in a game, Ezio's family and Vito's friend Joe in Mafia 2. hope 2k goes for a story heavy game rather than action based like games have turned into since Madia 2 was released. really excited to visit vintage era. i really love that time period.

Quite literally all the companies would be looking for people like this, and a bachelors degree is pretty much what is expected of a engineer (of any kind).
 
As far as what you'll do, you'll do what they tell you to do.  It depends on what the company that hires you wants out of you.  Generally, a "computer engineer" will be doing things like designing a OEM machine.  But that degree could be used to get into just about anything, like software design.  Companies like Microsoft will need someone that knows something about computer design just so they can help their software team make tweaks.  A big example of this, is power profiles.  A computer engineer will know quite a bit about general computer hardware and be capable to help with the software engineers in areas that they aren't as familiar with.
 
Now, you can be more specific and be a "Software Engineer" or a "Hardware Engineer".  And even push even further and become more special and be a Operating System emphasis, or a microprocessor emphasis.
