  1. Nah, there is no "They" on bitcoin as far as I know. I'm not sure it'd work. If it works though, why hasn't anyone else with the money buy a quantum computer and do this?
  2. Yeah, and you gotta program it to mine them. I am interested in this one, lmao. The thing is that 15 mil is a lot, but if you have sure profit then.. why not
  3. xD, the thing is I've been using Mac laptops ever since I remember. I am willing to change to Windows though
  4. Hey, So, now that the new Nvidia GPU's are out for laptops, which one should I get? I don't like the laptop too bulky. I currently have a MacBook Pro, and it's time for an upgrade (I've had it for some time now). Also, I prefer 15" screens. I was looking into the GTX 1070 Aorus laptop, but I'm not sure yet. Maybe I should wait till September to see the new MacBook Pro's, because I might stay with Mac for now. Anyways, I have a budget of about 3500 USD. I know it's a lot, but I use it almost all the time every day. Thanks
  5. I would take a look at this laptop, IMO. http://www.aorus.com/Product/Features/X3 Plus v6 -- has a desktop 1060 in it, being better than your current 970. It's worth exactly 2099 USD. Has the latest i7 6820HK, the screen is 3200x1800 and has 16GB of RAM. Also, it's thin & lightweight. If you want 13", if you want 15" and a desktop 1070 in your laptop, take a look at the X5 (will be more expensive, though)
  6. I'd go for this instead. 7. Ok, should I get the i7 or the Xeon on the 5510?
  8. Hi, So, I made a post similar to this one about a week ago (or so). I have some new ideas. So, I currently have a 13" MacBook Pro with Retina Display (late 2013) -- kind of bad, I know. I'm getting a new one. I don't have a budget but I don't want to surpass 3499 or something like that. Unless there's a big difference. I don't really want the display to be bigger than 15" because I feel like it'll be too big, and also I don't like bulky laptops. The other thing to consider is I'm already into the Mac OS, that's why I'm considering going for a new mac. I was looking into a few laptops: the EVGA SC17 is nice, the 15" MacBook Pro with the 2.8GHz CPU, 512GB PCIe drive and the dedicated GPU (m370x), the Surface Book (still got to look into the config), or the Dell XPS 15 (which config?). Which one do you think I should go with? Also, things to consider is that I doubt I'll be doing any gaming on my laptop since I already have extremely good desktop computers around my houses, I'll be doing more video editing on the go, watching series/movies, if I do game it'll be more light. But I do want nice specs. Should I wait for new mobile GPU's (new laptops) to come out and the new MacBook Pro to come out, or am I fine with the current ones? I'm not really in a extreme hurry to change my laptop, the only thing is that it lags often, and I'm running out of available space on my computer (gotta delete stuff, 5GB free currently). Thanks, and as always sorry for the long thread.
  9. Depends on your point of view, most objects inside a "3D" game have length, depth and height. So, doesn't it make it 3 dimensional? The illusion is on your screen (perspective), not the game itself. Not sure though, haha, depends on your point of view.
  10. If I go for the macbook pro, should I wait until the new ones are released?
  11. Hey guys, been long since I posted. I currently have a Late 2013 MacBook Pro 13" w/ Retina Display (2.2GHz i5, 8 gb ram, 256 gb ssd). It's time for an upgrade. I was wondering if I should get a MacBook Pro 15" w/ retina display, the $2699 model (2.8GHz i7, 16 gb ram, 512 gb ssd, AMD m370x), the Dell XPS 15, the $2049 model (6th gen i7, 16 gb ram, 512 gb ssd, 960m, 4k display), or the surface book, the $2699 model (i7, 512gb ssd, dGPU)? I don't really have a budget, but I don't want to go over $3000 usd. The only reason I'm considering going for a mac is because I'm already into the mac os for my laptop. Any other ideas are welcome!
  12. This is my current all-time build (http://pcpartpicker.com/list/WhyK99), So, what do you guys think of this build now?: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i7-6850K 3.6GHz 6-Core Processor ($628.00 @ Amazon) CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X61 106.1 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($114.99 @ Amazon) Motherboard: Asus X99-A/USB 3.1 ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard ($228.99 @ SuperBiiz) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory ($127.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Samsung 950 PRO 256GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ($179.99 @ SuperBiiz) Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 1TB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($300.79 @ Amazon) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB FTW Gaming ACX 3.0 Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($679.99) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB FTW Gaming ACX 3.0 Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($679.99) Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro M ATX Mid Tower Case ($54.99 @ Newegg) Power Supply: SeaSonic Platinum 1000W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($199.99 @ Newegg) Monitor: Acer XB271HU bmiprz 27.0" 165Hz Monitor ($717.94 @ B&H) Keyboard: Corsair STRAFE RGB Wired Gaming Keyboard ($139.99 @ Amazon) Mouse: Corsair Sabre Wired Optical Mouse ($84.96 @ Amazon) Headphones: Sennheiser G4ME ZERO Black Headset ($179.99 @ Amazon) Total: $4318.59 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2016-06-09 09:49 EDT-0400 I'm considering going for a i7 6900k, but I think it'd be overspending a little. As I said, I don't have a budget as long as it's worth it. What do you guys think about the monitor, motherboard or mouse? How about the 1TB SSD I picked out, or should I go for HDD, and the headphones?
  13. yeah I know which ones would you recommend?
  14. Yeah I do edit/render videos every once in a while.
  15. Hey guys, Been long since I've posted. Long story short; I may be moving for a few months out of the city where I currently live, but it's not permanent. I already have a house where I'm going to be staying, I'll still go there often. So, I'll have to make a new build! I don't really have a budget, but don't want to spend TOO much. I've come up with this build (peripherals included): Tell me what you think! 17. Will do. How long should I wait? Should I go to the bios without the SSD connected, turn it back off, then connect it back again and turn it on with the SSD?
  18. Yes, the SSD does host windows. So I should just disconnect the SSD from the m.2 slot and leave the hyper kit (it was a pain to install) or should I remove everything?
  19. Hey, So, recently, my computer freezed and I had to restart it. After the restart, my SSD wasn't being showed up in the BIOS. I updated my BIOS to the latest version, cleared my CMOS, and still nothing; it's not being shown up. What should I do? Please, help me. Thanks,
  20. My 980 Ti SLI will soon start getting lower framerates in games, I also want full DX12 compatibility. Anyways, I'll be changing to 4k though; my 980 Ti SLI isn't enough to run 4k at a steady framerate. I also don't just use the GPU for gaming
