8-Bit Ninja got a reaction from Hinjima in CPU Cooler Starts Delayed
As long as it starts I wouldn't worry. There's enough thermal mass (even in a stock cooler) for a CPU to run without the fan for a short while.

8-Bit Ninja reacted to RONOTHAN## in 1155 Motherboards are expensive
That isn't a stupid statement. I wouldn't buy that board from a seller who didn't put that in the description. HP motherboards from that era use proprietary power standards so there isn't a way to plug in a standard ATX power supply to them without some weird adapter cables. They also use very weird motherboard form factors like BTX, so an HP case is the only reliable way to get it to work.

Pretty sure it was FX actually that was the last to drop XP support, but you're gonna run into the same sort of issues finding cheap boards anyway, if not more since the FX chips drew so much power and the motherboards they were usually put in had pretty anemic VRMs.

You've pretty much got to wait and hope to snag one when someone is parting out an old system, or just buckle down and buy a 2nd or 3rd gen Optiplex for $50-60, and just make an adapter for the fan (pretty sure adapters do exist for them)

Thats true. But it is not a problem, that can't be fixed.

    1. Put two ninjastars in the center. One is fixed and the other one can be rotated. This way you could use one side for short bits and the other one for long ones.

    2. Make one bit holder side rotatable. When aligning the top and bottom holder, the bits will stop each other from falling out. And when you rotate them by 30° you can put long bits in.

Maybe it was considered at some point in developement. And it's really cool that they showed some parts of the developement process of the screwdriver. But i think the 30min video is not enough to show everything. I really would love to see a whole documentation of 1-2 hours about it.

I guess, is there anything stopping you from buying the case today? There's basically zero chance it will be obsolete in six months, and it can sit in the box in a corner in the meantime.

Huh I didn't even know the forum had a car sub.
This is my 2017 BMW M140i, has a fairly extensive list of mods which il try and remember

    Visual
    - Aftermarket rear diffuser
    -M Style mirror caps
    - Front air surrenders painted
    - Black kidney grills

    Performance
    - Litchfield Stage 1 tune (Running 438hp wheel if I remember correctly and somewhere around 420 lbft of torque)
    - XHP stage 3 gearbox map (Auto zf8)
    - Quiff LSD
    - Motec lowering + stance kit
    - Powerflex rear bushings

and a few other little things I cant remember, I've owned it for about 2 and half years now. Looking to move on soon, a manual M2 CS has caught my eye big style, but here in the UK they're trading for at least £80k which is significantly more than I've ever spent on a car and quite a scary amount to tie up in one honestly.

Thanks you very much. Indeed, in the time I’ve owned it it’s only lost about £1k in value. Which is beyond impressive, time will tell how much of that is the current car market vs collectibility of the car though. Will be interesting to see what BMW does with the inevitable new gen m140i. They seem rather set on this x-drive nonsense though 😕

Unfortunately not, that’s just a Seat Ibiza fr. I had the pleasure of driving a friends Gr Yaris a few months back and wow. I’m not a big fan of awd in general but that thing is something very special, not £35k special but still fantastic fun.

This car is now a collectible as BMW decided to shit on 1 series by making them Minis. Lovely car sir, I always wanted one of these (and I still do). Do I also see a GR Yaris parked next to this beauty?

Sounds like you've tried everything you could possibly do to verify you have a faulty set of ram. Only thing left to do is get a refund where you bought it, or contact the manufacturer for an RMA.

Your RAM is running in dual channel, so your bios is showing the speed of the RAM running in dual channel (2400mhz X 2) where as cupid is showing the speed per stick of RAM. Both are correct, both are technically the same.

Lmfao ye, sorry 😅 i just saw it while i was looking around for arc adapters n things, and i thought id reply to it and prob get more resonses than if i just made a whole new thread. But, i've just ordered a cheap HDMI ARC Adapter, and it comes in on sunday, so i'll wait till then. But from what i've seen its the only way to get from a digital signal to analog while still being able to control vol. Plus i dont need it to be perfect, i just need it to work. I've seen ppl talk abt those settings, i forgot which one it was exactly, but i'll figure it out when i get it ig.

I have an apple watch which I exclusively use as a fitness tracker (I know its not great but it does what I need). And then I have a few watch's as an accessory I guess. There only worn in formal settings because I don't see the point in wearing one daily, it doesn't really take any longer to check my phone.
