  1. I got the STRIX 1080 Ti OC for $780.00 on amazon so I bought it!
  2. But does it make a difference between the stock and OC ones in terms of performance if i manually overclock it myself? Or can it not overclock as much( there are talks about it being binned)?
  3. Hey! I'm interested in getting the 1080Ti but I'm unsure on which one to get at the moment. I'm thinking either the Asus ROG Strix OC or the Gigabyte Xtreme Edition. However, the ROG Strix OC is VERY overpriced atm due to mining, is the normal strix worth it? Also, the Gigabyte Xtreme variant I heard has had DOAs. I live in the Caribbean and the shipping and returning costs/hassle are gonna be a pain. I heard only the Xtreme editions are coming DOA and the normal non Xtreme is fine. So i'm stuck on which one to buy. Should I get the Normal Strix or the Normal Aorus. Thanks in Advance!
  4. Alright. Thanks everyone! If I build the pc soon, I'll post about it. Im thinking about waiting till Christmas when I travel so I can spend more since shipping and customs are about $600USD :D.
  5. I'll be buying the 1080 ~Christmas. Overall Budget is around USD$2000-$2500.
  6. The extra cores may/will come in handy with Streaming and Editing if I'm not mistaken which is why im here asking :3
  7. Problem is not max budget, but I heard the 5820K outperforms the 6800K after OC'ing. The thing is Im not sure if the 6700K would be enough for what I want or If i would need to go for the 5820K or 6800K!
  8. Hey guys and girls, I'm currently planning on building a new PC. I'm just stuck with which CPU to pick. Should I go with the 5820K, 6800K or 6700K. As stated, I would be using it for 1440P Gaming, Will be starting Video Editing, Graphic Design and Streaming(1080p/60fps preferrably) etc. Mainly looking for the best performance obviously and FUTURE PROOFING! This is my current build: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/ggcF8K Need help with Mobo and CPU, which do you guys recommend and yes I would be OC'ing. I am also open to suggestions to edit the build! Thank You very much in advance
  9. Alright, so should I get the Maximus Hero Alpha VIII, a gigabyte or MSI Mobo?
  10. IS there by chance a Red/Black version to it?
  11. I am planning on buying a GTX 1080 as well as the i7-6700K and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. However I'm not sure what motherboard to buy. As the title said, its mainly a gaming pc and editing (Photoshop and some video editing and Rendering). I was planning on buying the Maximus Hero VIII(Currently have the MAximus Hero VII and I am extremely happy with it). Should I get this? or get like a Z170 Gaming mobo? Help and suggestions please. (RAM Suggestions would be appreciated also) Thanks in advance! EDIT- I would like something red and black for my PC THEME :3
