Plug and play (have downloaded software but wanting to see this part first) - the +/- is MULTIPLE settings of DPI.  From super slow to super fast.  Not sure the DPI settings at this time.  The lines on the side and underbelly of the mouse are pulsating blue.

Once I got in the software however I noted that DPI settings WITHOUT software are:
800, 1600, 2000, 2400, 3200, 5000, 6000.  Pretty nice spread however no indicator.  Once software loads up however you get to see it change with each click so know what it is.  Once you get used to the mouse I could see the non indicator not being an issue.

Mouse feels....good I guess.  Not sure if I like it yet.  Its the smooth plastic with a shiny surface.  It doesn't feel bad in the hand, but I cant tell if the plastic is cheap or just nice high gloss.  Havent added weights yet.  Clicks/Scrolls feel good so far.

Software download, reboot required.  The software starts on its own in sys tray, right click and show the window (where the sound settings etc are)

Heres your control (all DPI settings etc) of the mouse - lots of options sans color - looks like Blue is it:

Okay so I have it out, reading the manual it has its own Program to set this mouse up.  Havent installed yet, but from what I am reading I can have 3 profiles set up and it sets the sensitivity, DPI, polling, color settings (pulsing etc) on each setting from 1-10 incriment slider bars

Unboxing was nice - the weights have their own metal Zalman carrying case (like a small pill box), and the mouse feels good in the hand.  The mice are the exact same length (eyeballing it) but this one with weights is a bit wider...but the width is the thumb and pinky rests so not a bad thing.

Each button is individually addressable to what you want it to do once programmed.  You can even set scroll up and scroll down to a function you want.

I just got home, kids are excited (2 and 1) so I am going to spend some time with them and be back in an hour or so.

Editing as I read this and updating.

EDIT 2 - back and forth...My PC doesn't have a CD ROM lol so I will have to find the program on Zalman later tonight...and I don't feel like putting in one of my 3 backup DVD roms in the parts pile unless I have to

I have NOT gotten to test it yet - I will tonight and report out.  It has a +/- button on it so I assume its incremental but will advise

Daz3d is very legit. It's just kind of cheap quality stuff mostly centered around posing 3d models. I think their Bryce software was supposed to be fairly usable if I recall. But you're not going to get viruses or spam from them. They've been free for years and still advertise like they're giving away software that costs.

They'll just lock certain features and make it limited until your payments are shown to be valid again. It sounds like you're also past the time frame for refunding, one of the downsides of waiting to play games from sales. Older games and early access ones are iffy at best and there's no guarantee beyond the refund window period that it will work.

As someone with a gtx 1050 that suits my needs I honestly don't see the point. I can run it on a dual monitor setup perfectly.

It's okay though. You get free healthcare. That makes the higher prices, taxes, customs, etc. on everything else worthwhile.

Laptop 1050's come with 4gb. They are not Ti's.

What do you play OP and are those the only 4 options? I'd grab an i5 coffeelake with a 1050 ti over those if it's an option. Same performance as the 7700hq.

They're the same thing so any price difference is a good one for the cheaper item. I'd say anything over $10. I don't think I'd pay $15 to get a 570 over a 470, but maybe $10.

PUBG is more intensive/unoptimized. A 1060 is more ideal and you'll appreciate it later.

First check temperatures, then check task manager to see if anything is running at 100%, then check to make sure all of your hardware is running at their specified ratings. Chances are you'll find something wrong by here.

After that you can run a disk check and memtest diagnostic. Let us know how it goes.

The i5 to i7 will be minimal. The ram is pretty good to upgrade. The SSD is great for start and load times. You'll see better performance in different areas depending on each upgrade. The SSD and RAM will be the better ones.

Ah. One way to confirm that it's the motherboard/gpu is to plug it into an external monitor and see what color that monitor is.

Generally you can't fix notebook problems like that. You can't replace the parts and there's usually no software fix. Though maybe you could do some kind of color calibration to offset it.

Disconnects like that are power issues. Whether it's power from the cable, the cable adapter for the power supply, or the power supply itself your monitor is getting "spikes" of being disconnected.

Try it with another monitor to see if that's the issue.

I use a fairly clean chrome that doesn't do that on my laptop. Under your usage scenario then it's normal for it to completely crash your PC though.

Yes. And you should try for at least a 1060. 1050 ti is more for budget laptops (like mine) but it's good for what I use it for (1920 * 2 resolution for dota and fortnite).

Also I wouldn't worry too much about bad cooling solutions since you can still undervolt your cpu and gpu. You always have custom options like http://www.digitalstorm.com/gaming-laptops.asp if you're going up to ~$2000 anyway. You just have to decide what exactly you want/need since ideally you don't ever want to use a warrant anyway so you should get the best overall cooling to performance.

Things like a 1050 ti + 120hz monitor are a bad combination unless you exclusively play esports titles with low requirements. But even Overwatch needs a 1060 to push those frames.

Well, you have a couple of weeks to confirm and see if there's an option to buy an international warranty. They are a global company so I'm sure there's something, besides being able to take them to any computer repair shops too. They're pretty good for working out of the box though.

The only thing I forgot to mention was we use NTSC plugging here. You can use one of these https://smile.amazon.com/American-European-Germany-Adapters-Certified/dp/B0058EG0KC/ or another model to get around that without any issues since laptops worth both ways well. (personal experience across multiple devices).
