That is awesome.  No stability issues ?  As I said in my post, I never said fact it wont work, I just said its a tough pill to swallow.  Def will require BIOS update.  The thing TacoSenpai is that with a x570 you get PCIe 4.0 and more PCI lanes.  In the future one day you will want to upgrade your video card say 2 years from now.  Well the video cards will all be PCIe 4.0 at that point, and it has a 68 percent boost in FPS as said the AMD keynote.  Now for real world gaming I can tell you that a PCIe 4.0 nvidia card on a x570 will pown,, and be like 40 percent faster card because its PCIe 4.0.  Also more PCIe lanes and better VRMs and other little things.  You will def get a ton more FPS with a x570.  The architechture has changed since the 350.  Having said all this,,,, pay a little more and buy a x570 and the 3000 series will play nice with each other and what not.

asrock seems to be having some issues with there bios but u should be good with a gigabyte

This is a tough one.  I knew a 450 or 470 BIOS update and your Ryzen 3000 ready.  On that 370 mobo I promise the AMD CPU's will not take full advantage of your memory controller / mobo and what not.  I didn't know about the x370.  If I was a betting man the 3000 will give issues and BSODs if it works at all.  You gain soo much more with a 470 or 450.  But ultimatialy you need to buy the x570 if you want to take full advantage of AMDs CPU and memory architecture and lack of PCIe 4.0 and lack of PCIe lanes and overall it will perform better with the motherboard it was meant to sit on which is the x570.  Yes I know its expensive but me personally if I upgrade and get a new CPU Im going to want the latest motherboard for that CPU ya know.

Why people stick these stupid devices in their homes is just beyond baffling. Are people really this dumb or just don't give a fuck at all? Like, come on, would you let your neighbor listen to ALL your conversations? Of course not. But they are totally fine because it's Google and it's listened to by someone 1000 kilometers away. So all is fine. I think people don't even know what is happening and when someone tells them they look at them like they are some sort of paranoid fruitcakes. Wake up people!

That is absolutely true, but voice commands don't require an internet connection, let alone sending recordings back "home". There are plenty of ways of offering that convenience without infringing on people's privacy.

While I am not one to say "Nothing in my house can listen in on me" because that isn't the case if I was to be targeted - however I am one to say "Why would I put an Eavesdropping device in my house" and rebuttal myself with "Nope" every time.
 
Secondary reason - people who have them and use them, when I have been in their house...aren't saving any time or anything really from what I can tell, so it seems to me to just be technology people are led to believe they need for convenience.  But I just don't see the convenience being such to have one, at all.

Intel is entirely capable of making a product focus switch to compete in a different manor with AMD if they deem it to be required. Intel has done a vast amount of CPU development and innovation, the difference is they do not sell or market it to you. If Intel wants to up the core count and lower the clocks to make such a product stack viable from a cost point then they can.
 
There is nothing stopping Intel taking their 8 to 16 core server architectures, stripping out memory channels down to 2, removing RDIMM support, removing UPI links, scaling down the PCIe controller, adjusting boost table and increasing tcase limit to align with desktop usage. Or you can do the same but from HEDT starting point. There's a lot Intel can do to cut down die size compared to their current higher core count offerings to reduce costs and create a more diverse product stack and with the clock bins across them.
 
Intel is by no means short of options, in fact their biggest problem is too many options. Intel is much like Goku, after a while you realize he actually has a terrible personality but he will always find a way to win or come back from the dead. AMD is much like Gohan, was once a very powerful person slated to take over but ultimately fell short then drifted in to insignificance for a long time then came back out of nowhere with an actual personality, however still not at the same peak strength level as Goku. Also 6 or so years ago AMD was Yamcha but that just turned out to be a bad dream ?.
 
Oh and AMD's marketing team is Saiyaman.

God I really hope they don't do some super cool designs like they did with the 3DS, because I have no reason to own two Nintendo Switches.

It's semi-related on the opposite side of things, this sort of annoys me when people say Japanese are homophobic to Western products. If they actually looked at what's popular and iconic in Japan, a lot of it either comes from the West still or was born in the West.

Sony, Nintendo, etc are all popular. We don't use Japanese cars that much because we have cheaper alternatives like Hyundai.

When you're being made responsible for acts that happened long before most people living today were alive... during WARTIME of all things... for which you've already compensated them by about 800 millions... But they are still demanding more decades later because it somehow came back into the news and everyone just forget you've compensated them... You just can't please everybody, they will always demand more and more and more.

It's always something those in power or those who want to maintain control that bring it up to try and dig into other people's lives but if the tables were ever turned on them it would be the worst thing in the world and blah blah blah. Perhaps those in charge of the ISPs should give up encryption first and all their privacy?

Agreed to an extent.  All I'm saying is make alot of money somewhere with good ideas and they are likely to be emulated by people wanting the same success.  I can remember reading about how Nintendo was dominant with the NES then had Sega to compete fiercely with and then Sony (partly due to Nintendo's own mistakes and hubris) completely destroyed them with the PS1 and PS2 even though the N64 and GCN were good consoles in their own right.

This just makes it difficult for researchers and devs to patch vulnerabilities and keep up on what people are doing. That's it. Sure there could be some harm from it, but it would be so minor, as anything that is published on youtube is going to be found and fixed very quickly. 

I honestly think they're two different worlds that just happen to kinda look the same up close. Get a little distance from them and look at the market that each occupies and you'll realize that Nintendo's kinda got its own world while MS and Sony are fighting for the same world. Like you said, I don't think MS and Sony really have what it takes to take on Nintendo in the portable market and Nintendo's consoles aren't going for the same users as MS and Sony.

I think thats really what this is about.  Less about having a 'lower end Switch' and more about putting the 3DS out to pasture.
