The FAA tests are fairly easy to take, multiple choice questions with only 3 answers to pick from. You don't need to pay for anything as the FAA has created a free study guide for exactly what you're looking for. If you really want to pay for something, ASA makes great study guides and it's 10 bucks for the e-book.
    https://www.faa.gov/sites/faa.gov/files/regulations_policies/handbooks_manuals/aviation/remote_pilot_study_guide.pdf.

As far as the regulation side of it goes, 14 CFR Part 107 is what you'd be delving in to. It goes in to detail on everything you would need to follow. I know aircraft are recommended to stay at least 2000 feet above wildlife zones and national parks, but I'm sure it's different for a small drone, just double check the regulations.

Just follow that checklist that you linked to and you'll be good to go.

    1996 Chevy Tahoe with 308,000
1998 Oldsmobile eighty eight with 211,000 on it
    1999 Chrysler Sebring 160,000
2003 mustang GT with 145,000 and auto crossed for 50,000 miles of its life.

They are much easier to fix.

they don’t have model specific tech like touch screens that will be impossible to find in 5-7 years or need OTA updates.  If I want a GPS I have my phone, and it isn’t permanently attached to the car, I can upgrade it easily.   Their  sound systems are great, the AC blows cold, the ride is smooth and nice, good gas mileage 24-27mpg highway (minus mustang at 18)

they are much cheaper to buy and insure.

Most modern cars use turbos to make that extra power which lowers the life of the engine.  ANY forced induction system on a gasoline engine will do this.  turbos have a lot of other issues especially if you’re not perfect with the oil changes as most of them use the engine oil for the turbo also.

I find it interesting that you believe being into tech means you have to want it in all your things.  To me being into tech has shown me that only thing you can afford to replace at a very regular interval will be “up to date”, and I don’t know of many people that can afford to replace their car as often as their phones.

what creature comforts are to talking about?  “Auto pilot”?  Driver assists?  Heated seats?

as for the power part.  A 2023 Honda civic makes 158 HP 138 ft/lbs, My 1998 Oldsmobile makes 205 and 230.  My 99 Sebring  makes 163 hp and 170 ft/lbs torque.

if you are talking about “top of the line” models of cars, made today, yes they are more powerful but again, daily driving isn’t a race track, who is actually trying to hit the listed 0-60 times at a red light in morning traffic?  If you are talking about your average family car, no they really aren’t as they are not trying to make a Honda odyssey get to 60 in under 5 seconds.

Thanks for the concern everyone. We are still in recovery mode over here and working with YouTube to get everything restored. Will hopefully have a video (or at least an update on WAN Show) to share with you all ASAP, but we want to make sure we get the details right since smaller channels may rely on our experience to help harden their own security.

I bought a PC case that doesn't have a window. I do not want to look into my case, I only want to do cable management as far as it's sensible for air-flow and nothing else.

Hence I could not care any less about the color of my fans, but boy do I love the Noctua performance 🙂

I have a window on my case, it's acrylic. I sanded it. It now looks "frosted", no longer see through. I love my poop brown noctua fans in my case that I can't see.

I typically keep my old componets like gpus, ram, cpus, coolers, ssds.  Probably will sell my gtx1080 and 1800x since i did a refresh.

To me its even easier to play older complete titles now in days given the unfortunate state of the AAA games industry

If I'm buying a new GPU, that's usually how I do it too. I've not had any issues so far buying used GPUs from Ebay and Craigslist, though.

I buy a lot of my hardware used, typically the only things I only buy new are cases, power supplies, and storage devices. I haven't ran "modern" hardware in years just because it's cheaper to buy perfectly good old stuff on the used market than perfectly good expensive stuff new.

You just have to know what to look for to avoid scams, bad products, etc.
