  1. Right!? Still works great for me
  2. They are from FunkoPop! Most of them are bought from Hot Topic They go for around 15$ CAD there each! And I will do a upgrade soon.
  3. Never going back! Thanks for the smiley face!
  4. My old i7 920 from 2009 still going strong. Just getting new peripherals before I do a huge upgrade This is where I spend "most" of my free time. Only game I currently play is Dota2 which is why I don't find a need to upgrade yet because it runs just fine here. http://imgur.com/a/31xrB
  5. I would also just buy a completely new sub rather then use the Logitech ones. I currently have my Audioengine A5+ hooked up to a Polk Audio PSW111 sub. It sounds awesome! I also prefer a more base heavy feel in my music, and the 8" PSW111 was just enough for my small room
  6. Getting a DAC wont increase my audio quality to much? Besides that, does the Scarlett Solo make for a good DAC? It also has a headphone jack as a bonus too + mic inputs if i decide to get a nicer mic down the road. Like how does it compare to the Schiit Modi 2 and D1?
  7. I have a question, I want to hook up my Audioengine A5+ to a DAC. My friend is willing to sell me a Focusrite Scarlett Solo for cheap and was wondering if it would make a good DAC for my A5+, or would I have better results by getting let say a Schiit Modi 2 or a Audioengine D1. Can the DAC on the Scarlett Solo compare to the DAC's from the Schiit, and Audioengine?
  8. Oh alright, I do hear some slight sounds coming from the speaker when nothing is being played. Might be a small EMI problem as well. My friend is selling his Focusrite Scarlett Solo. Would that make a good DAC for the speakers? I know it is more of a Audio Interface, but I would be using it strictly as a DAC and plugging my Audio Technica ATH M50x in them. Or would I be better of just buying the Audioengine D1? I am fairly interested in the Scarlett Solo because I can get it for so cheap, as long as the DAC is good.
  9. Oh sweet! How do the Audioengine D1 pair with the A5+? I am planning to pick one up whenever i find them on a sale.
  10. Oh that sucks I ended up leaving it at 90. I find it to be a good spot for me! Thanks for your help and such. If you don't mind, what is your current audio setting at your PC?
  11. Thanks for the list of songs! I have been playing around with what to set it at. I seem to be liking anything from 80-100. Cant really pick where to set it at though. Will keep tuning it!
  12. I can tell the difference by ear, setting it to high and i can hear some other random notes being played from songs in the sub. I have tried setting it to around 60, and i feel it is low and lacking. I currently have it at around 90-100 because i feel it is best at this filter. What kind of appropriate music would you recommend me listen to, to test them out?
  13. Hey everyone! I just upgraded my speakers to the Audioengine A5+ and got it hooked up to the PSW111. I am having difficulty setting the Low Pass dial. I currently have it set to around 90-100. I heard you are suppose to set it to where the speakers start to roll off. Does anyone have any suggestions?! Thanks in advance for the help!
  14. Looking at the JBL LSR305, I do not see a input that I can use to connect it to my PC, or subwoofer. Would I need to purchase a DAC? If so, what would you recommend? I would need it to be able to have enough connections to connect it to 2 speakers, subwoofer, and then into the PC.
  15. How would I be able to connect my, for example Presonus Eris 5 with my Subwoofer into my PC? And is there any other Powered Speakers you can recommend me that is a lower price tag? My current AudioEngine A2+ are powered as well.
