    1080 Ti?

Yes it will be I cant wait and by then 4k 144hz will be a thing lol. But Like i said I would just turn down settings. Im not even bothered by the benchmarks of the 1080 or hyped. If i allowed my self to do that i would not be able to sleep I just told my self I will build a new machine in a year with the latest and greatest. I mean if you were running like say an 970 or something then yes I would be picking up a 1080 asap.

    1080 Ti?

yeah like thekeemo said we can expect 1080ti spring of 2017 sometime. If i we're you I would just save up and turn settings down. I am currently running 2 980tis so my plan is to wait until the 1080tis come out and by then all the windows 10 problems will hopefully of been fixed and Im just going to build an entirely new machine with 2 1080tis.
  3. Honestly I would return the Strafe and get the g810 when it becomes available. The only down side I can see is having to wait for the g810 to be in stock so you might go a while with out a keyboard in which case I hope you have a back up board for temporary use. The reason I say go with the g810 is that I have had the Strafe silent for about 3 months now? sense it came out and while it took a while to get used to (still not 100%), things have not been the same as when I had the blackwidow. I miss the feed back and click which the silent does not have. Some people prefer the low resistance but I still cant get used to it. While gaming I keep finding my self pressing buttons I shouldn't. This is just my gaming style I like to pre load the button which you cant do with red/ silent switches. Im going to prob give the Strafe away, get the g810 or get another strafe with blue or brown switches.
  4. No you will not. You will have to turn setting off and super low to even get 60fps at 1440p. I was running a single 980 when I got my Swift and I was having a bad time, not over clocked. I upgraded to 2 980ti's in sli when they came out, best investment I have ever made. Some games you will get 60 fps at ultra but most games that are worth playing you will have a bad time, however Gsync does help when your frames drop. Having said this I would still recommend you buy the monitor now. Most would argue upgrade system first but I dont agree. Monitor is probably the best investment you could make and then upgrade later. I cringe when I see sli systems with a 20" monitor 60hz
  5. Honestly I would still wait a bit or if you cant wait just get the pg279q now. In my own opinion its worth the gamble if you buy from a reputable store that allows returns. I mean worst case you get a shit monitor, return it, get your money back, buy something ells or try again. Best case you get a perfect monitor and then realize you almost passed this monitor up because of bad reviews. Dont get me wrong the bad reviews are deserving but what Im trying to say is dont get your hopes up and more then likely expect to have to return. I my self dont mind taking risks so will be buying one after the dust settles regardless if there is improvement in QC or not.
  6. Im in the same boat! Going to wait it out for a bit longer but if the issues still continue, I'm just going to get another pg278q and call it a day. Some good deals showing up. IPS would be a pluss but honestly the TN of the Swift has never bothered me.
  7. Agreed! When I play with friend online its always a pain in the ass when we have to wait for some one that needs to replace battery's or when their stuff dies mid game. I could honestly care less about the input lag, Ive done wireless for years with consoles and for me that was the only way a console should be played. Wireless is Nice but I dont have time to replace battery's or wait for something to be charged. So to answer your question OP Wired Wins for the single reason of not having to ever worry about battery running low or have any interruptions mid game.
  8. I started a thread asking what route I should take with the same two monitors a while ago. The conclusion was PG279Q, because higher FPS and being stuck to only 60hz sounds like a bad time. I already have a swift and falling bellow anything 144hz is a bad time. Keep in mind Im running dual 980tis. I will run 4k in a few years when I upgrade next until then I will enjoy any new games that come out at max settings at 1440p high refresh rates!
  9. I have all week off, I put in for vacation Months ago but not for Fallout4 but for FFXIV 3.1 patch. I could care less about fallout really. Might still get it for shits and giggles like i did Metal gear solid. I lost all interest in games that will be fun to play for about a month witch is something I looked forward to when I was younger. Growing up sucks D: I keep telling my self save this $60.00 now dont buy the game and you will have enough for some HD800S before you know it #TheDream!
  10. another thing is you should be moving your entire arm and hand at the same time and not force an unnatural movement. For example, when I go to hit my windows home key I move my entire arm down so my writs are straight this means you will have to lift your arms off the desk as crazy as it sounds.
  11. Also remember Taran said it was all in your head. I had the same thing happening to my hands then thought about what Taran said and boom over night the pain was gone. Also the wrist things on key board do nothing for me in that my hands never sit flush or come in contact with them. Maybe Im not keyboarding properly lol.
  12. You will get more help in the Audio section but First of all How $much are you willing to spend? Also 7.1 is a ploy in order to get people to pay more most of the time.
  13. I know lol. More of a troll post on my end.
  14. Well Linus said buy it with the review he gave it. Apparently he is only going to say something on Wan show if Acer tell him about the recall source his Twitter.
  15. Is it worth mentioning? IDK I have not heard much on it, sorry.
