No you will not. You will have to turn setting off and super low to even get 60fps at 1440p. I was running a single 980 when I got my Swift and I was having a bad time, not over clocked. I upgraded to 2 980ti's in sli when they came out, best investment I have ever made.
Some games you will get 60 fps at ultra but most games that are worth playing you will have a bad time, however Gsync does help when your frames drop.
Having said this I would still recommend you buy the monitor now. Most would argue upgrade system first but I dont agree. Monitor is probably the best investment you could make and then upgrade later. I cringe when I see sli systems with a 20" monitor 60hz
