With the current news and events around the world about meltdown and specter and major companies are pushing patches and updates to fight against this issue, could I can someone help me and fellow windows 8.1 users to find an update for these issues (if there are any). Because when ever I check my windows update it says up to date no new updates found. I cannot find the KB4056... patch -
can someone explain to me what's the meaning of smooth scrolling in the logitech options software for the MX anywhere 2s? I just recently bought 1 and honestly having a great experience in working with it, but I just cant get to understand whats the smooth scrolling for. Thanks in advance!

Will this be a fair use? From what I know if I do not affect the earning of the artist or recording company, also if my work is in a way a Transformative Use (correct me if I am wrong) affects the public/market in a way it would be both beneficial to end users and artist (let say making the song more popular or known to the public).

So, is it safe to assume that the app I stated earlier has permissions from all those different artist and recording company to use the songs for entertainment and monetary purposes.

The problem sometimes with asking permission is that the owner of the song does not reply to our request. If the game is free, but we could ask for donations from players (is this ok?)

Hi, could someone help me understand if I am violating the copyright law. Because me and my friends plan to make a game using multiple songs but only using portions of each songs never the whole copy of it. If I use a portion of a song let say around 10-45 seconds of play time in a game will I be violating the copyright law? Sorry for the sudden change in topic, but I am just very very curious and having a hard time finding answers on the internet If let say I create a back up windows OS with my USB (aka. Bootable Flash Drive) it is only limited to my laptop only or I can us the USB to boot a new windows in my PC if ever I reformat it. When will windows stop becoming a legit or license OS for me? To make things clear here my question is concern with the Product key, or license key stuff and I do not understand it well could someone explain it for me. Thanks in advance

Ubuntu 16.04 LTS :D, hmmm nice advice, ok then this will be my plan then I will keep my laptop running windows since the specs on this thing can run games well, while PC will be full ubuntu since specs are old and not that game friendly

I know how to dual boot windows and ubuntu I dual boot in the past installing along side current OS, my only concern in dual booting now which to pick install alongside current OS or the something section (Manual Partition). Also why make ubuntu as your main OS not windows?
