I don't think for $400 you are going to get a better printer then what you have. I don't know much about the Genius Artillery, but after having a quick look on their website it looks like a decent printer. What issues are you having? Depending on what is causing your prints to fail, it might be worth adding an ABL sensor to get your first layer perfect and consistent.

If you mean connecting a microphone, I use a Blue Snowball so it gets connected to the USB port on my PS4.

I ended up purchasing the TX550M. While I think the CX550 would have been good enough, I think for the extra $30 it was worth it since the TX550M should hopefully last me for a couple of years and handle any more upgrades that I need.

Like the title says, I am currently looking to purchase a new power supply since I don't think continuing to use my current power supply would be a good idea. Right now I have narrowed my option down to the CX550 at $79.99 and the TX550M at $109.99. I am not too worried about it being modular or not since my case(Corsair Air 240) has plenty of room to manage the extra cables. I know that the CX550 is Tier B+ on the PSU Tier List while the TX550M is Tier A. My main question is, is the TX550M worth the extra $30? Or will the CX550 be just fine for my system. Might be worth checking out the Creality Ender 3, im not sure how much it is where you are from, but I paid roughly $300CAD for mine off of Amazon.

You could also try Fusion360. Its free if you login and say that your a hobbyist or student.

You could try ElmWood Electronics. They are located in Toronto so shipping within Canada shouldn't be that bad. I've ordered some small stuff from them before and had good luck. They seem to have some different LCD's and project boxes that might work. Compared to eBay ElmWood is going to be more expensive but it might be worth it since you aren't going to be waiting months for items to arrive.

One thing that I do know is that my power supply is making a "ticking" noise. Im going to assume that this is my issue, but I would rather not replace the power supply if its not going to fix the issue. So the issue im having right now is that my friend and I can't talk in the same party of PS4. Whenever we join each other we get a notification saying that you cant talk to this person due to your nat type. We both have nat type 2. The weird thing is that if my brother joins the party then we are able to talk, he also has nat type 2 but is on wifi instead of Ethernet. I've tried opening some ports but that doesn't seem to do anything. Has this happened to anyone else? Any help is appreciated.

Hopefully this is correct? Should AVDD be connected to PVDD1 aswell?

How does this look? I changed the capacitors and resistors on the L and R inputs to what you suggested. I also re-did the VDD and I think its fine now.

am working on a broken ps4 controller and seem to have found a problem with a ground trace. What is the best way to remove solder mask? I've tried Acetone and nail polish remove on a broken ps3 controller I have and it's eaten away the solder mask and the trace underneath. Here is a picture for reference

I'd swap out the psu for something like this https://pcpartpicker.com/product/fZyFf7/seasonic-power-supply-s12ii520bronze Its cheaper, better quality, and has more watts. Other than that you build looks pretty solid. Adding an SSD later on would also help speed things up.

Just checked all the ribbon cables and they are all seated pretty good. Another thing that I noticed is that when I hold down triangle, square seems to work. So im assuming that there may be a ground issue somewhere.

What do you mean by the switch? It uses contact pads like this(Sorry for big picture)

So I bought a broken PS4 controller for $10CAD with the intention of fixing it. Everything on the controller works except for the square button. I've taken it apart and cleaned it with 99 isopropyl alcohol, and the square button still doesn't work. Nothing on the board looks fried or damaged, so im stuck right now. Hopefully someone has a solution? Thanks in advance for any help!

You could go for something like this, then get something like this. The rubber pads would go over the contact points on the PCB, then buttons over the rubber pads. You might need to get these to mount the buttons so they stay in place, or if you have access to a 3-d printer you could print them yourself. I am looking to get a soldering station and have come across the Aoyue 936 on Amazon for $50CAD. It looks to be a decent unit, but I can't find much about it as far as reviews go. Anyone have this station and can give me some advice? Thanks.

Ended up contacting Corsair and they are sending me a replacement for free.

Tried another pair of headphones and they didn't work. I'll try the sand paper idea tomorrow.
