  1. The CPU doesn't really render games that is up to the graphics card or GPU. What GPU do you have?
  2. That is an older chip that would most likely cause a bottleneck due to its low clock speed. It might even be better to get a single X5650 drop it in an X58 board and OC to upwards of 4GHz. Also why 3 way SLI you may as well go with a 1070 or 1080 and save yourself some hassle.
  3. Here is what I found http://www.ebay.ca/itm/lntel-Core-i5-2500S-Quad-Core-CPU-Processor-2-7GHz-LGA-1155-65W-/152601503653?hash=item2387c227a5:g:UhwAAOSwlMFZNgWX and http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Intel-DH61CR-Socket-H2-LGA-1155-Desktop-PC-System-Board-Motherboard-w-IO-Shield-/382146095791?hash=item58f9aeaaaf:g:DisAAOSwq~tZVpj3
  4. r/hardwareswap has good deals if you look hard enough
  5. I would just search your local craigslist and hope for a good deal. 100 CAD is pretty low for an new parts
  6. That motherboard is great in theory, however it uses a lot of proprietary power connectors. It is possible to get it working with a regular power supply but it takes a good deal of modding. The mounting holes are non standard as well so it will also take some mods to make it fit in a case.
  7. 115 watt Xeon E5 2670 with an R9 390 oced to 1150MHz = much heat
  8. I am working on my physics hw and these problems are driving me insane because nothing I try is giving me the correct answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Problem 1: Find the magnitude of the electric field at a point midway between two charges +16.7 × 10^9 C and +91.4 × 10^9 C separated by a distance of 42.5 cm. The value of the Coulomb constant is 8.99 × 10^9 N · m2 / /C 2 . Answer in units of N/C. Problem 2: What is the magnitude of the electric field strength at a point 2.8 cm to the left of the middle charge? The value of the Coulomb constant is 8.98755 × 10^9 N · m2 /C 2 . Answer in units of N/C. Problem 2 part 2: What is the magnitude of the force on a −3.3 µC charge placed at this point? Answer in units of N. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!!!
  9. Have you tried moving around the RAM?
  10. Idk it was pretty strange. I could personally never watch it. Super super cringe.
  11. I would love if they hosted tech related content or even just some chill gamers. Unfortunately Kaceytron is neither of those things. I am sure people like her but I feel like her demographic does not align with WAN show demographics.
  12. I would say this is a pretty accurate review. It is very beta/alpha feeling right now. I do see it becoming pretty decent eventually.
  13. This question has been asked MANY times as of now they are not thinking about building an app.
  14. The i3 6100 is hyperthreaded. http://ark.intel.com/products/90729/Intel-Core-i3-6100-Processor-3M-Cache-3_70-GHz
  15. I take back my statement just did a some calculations at it would add about 18.5ish bucks of power a month.
  16. I mean the power would not be to bad assuming that it isn't running full load 24/7 That was wrong it would be about 20ish a month as stated above.

    Xeon Build

Oh as a side note it ended up not being the motherboard that failed but the CPU.

This thread is almost a year old how did you even find it? lol
  19. You could go with the 6800K if you really wanted to. What do you plan to do on this rig?
  20. Seems like a pretty solid build. What is your budget?
