I just bought a new system that has a SSD and I'm looking to wipe everything off my hard drive and use it for storage for random stuff. What is the easiest way to get rid of everything off my old boot HDD?

I'm building a 144hz 1080p (would get 1440 if the monitors weren't so expensive) fallout 4 machine and I'm wondering what to buy. I can buy a 980ti and all new parts but if I want to go 980sli I'll have to recycle some old parts from my budget build (1333 memory, old hard drive, old case ect. Would the 980sli be that much superior to the 980ti while trying to keep around 144fps?
