  1. You are FINE I have a 460v2 in mine until i can install my 980ti, I have been playing BS with no issues, I cant say what my fps is but is smooth even with no g-sync monitor, as i have the asus one before it came with g-sysnc. The setting are on medium high or better in my case on a 1920 x 1080. So i am sure you are going to be a-okay with you card for that
  2. you will be fine, the frames you get will be game dependent as in how well they coded it for sli.
  3. It holds your liquids used for cooling, some have a larger size because the rigs loop is long, and some for the just the looks.
  4. Hi guys, so i am going to purchase a 980ti within 2 weeks at most, The one i am currently interested in due to specs and noise is the waterforce by Gigabyte. I have never used an AIO before only air, i am currently using a 460v2 which i got shortly after its release, its still going strong on air and just now i am starting to hearing coil wine when i game, I am worried that if i go with the waterforce that while temps and the noise will be exactly what i want along with performance, the fear of a part failure or leak is worrisome and since i am the type of person that runs his Pc 24/7 durability matters alot, I want to jump on the W/C scene with my gpu first and later my cpu, but its this worry that gets me. ps. (I will ultimately have a skylake machine within 2 or 3 months max and will add the psu, 212, & 980ti to that new build) 1. How long are these AIO rated to last? I have stuck with air for this reason but if the change is safe and i can get say 4+ years with the card i would be happy with the AIO. 2. If i have a failure a year after use will they warranty it? (assuming no fault on my side obviously.) 3. Is this card supported by any aftermarket vendors for a custom loop? Thanks in advance for all your assistance, LTT longevity My system CPU: Intel 2500k Ram: 8gb Patriot sector 5 Mobo: Asus P8P67 Le rev 3 GPU: 460v2 Nvidia Cooler: 212 hyper evo SSD: 250gb Os loaded Samsung 850 PSU: 500w antec >>>>>>>>OTW from newegg 1000w corsair hxi HDD: 6 tb of drives
  5. The triple Monitor setup will have 3x1080P monitors. The graphics card used will be a 980ti, so what would be the best setup? why?
  6. Okay, so this is normal for temps? as in the fact that for those Fahrenheit thats normal? What wrongful thinking did i have? what is considered bad good and excellent degrees? i simply thought 50=F was the normal good temp for most with this or other aftermartket products.
  7. Hey everyone, so i bought a Hyper 212 evo for my ASUS P8P67 LE (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel Motherboard replacing my stock cooler from my Intel 2500k I am not and have not run over clocks on this cpu. During the install it took some figuring out but i now have it going but my temps are not normal, i have check bios and things looks normal and i have also re-seated the cpu 3 times now, no apparent change in temps from the re-seating. I have looked at the cpu fan and it appears to be working doesn't seem like alot of power its pushing but in bios i saw it around 800 rpm. any help would be greatly appreciated i will post some pics for info and visual. I am able to play a game such as League of legends i have also notice that the cpu is getting throttled which is normal but just thought i would add, no crashes or restarts have happened.
  8. Get the i5 with a stock cooler, no need for that AIO.
  9. Agreed. I would RMA immediately.
  10. I would change from a FX to a i5 but not worries really for you.
  11. I think that you will be fine then. Monitor splurging is important at times, so next big upgrade chance you have you might wanna move it over as a secondary monitor for a most powerful and feature packed one.
  12. Its okay for entry level, however if you paired this with a 980 series Nvidia or the rival AMD and greater gpu line. It could end up screen tearing since there is no g-sync. "If this is a Im on a small budget" its a decent monitor for the price.
  13. I agree that this is not a good PSU, I think that choosing a reliable and positively rated PSU is going to be the safest bet for you Computer hardware and most importantly your house.
  14. Sounds like the psu to me, also might want to try reseating your gpu as someone mentioned earlier.
  15. I know you found your answer but i second the answer of the 34"
  16. 1.Is g-sync worth it: YES 2.I agree that what gpu team (team Red or Green) you pick should be what monitor you either have or will soon go with. 3.If the 700$ you are referring to is the 1440P, 144hz with g-sync Monitor than the money is well worth its cost. The monitor should stay relevant to gaming for at least 3 year to come. 4. The 4k Monitor not having a high enough refresh rate kills the monitor for most if not all gamers, the current strongest single Gpu is not able to have respectable frames for 4k so the scope of potential buyers is even smaller. Well as for the price its because they are not being sold out,

  18. Agreed, I was not particularly social myself before my freshmen year, If the issue is the 2 hour limit you could try to see if your grades and attitude stay fine if you could have additional time on the computer? Side note: I did this to keep my long hair all throughout High School.
  19. It depends. Its true that prolonged periods are bad for your eyes and that it could be a distraction from her perspective. I spend almost all day on a computer at work and home, It does not bother me at all. Also age plays a part @XX working on social skills is important for growth and for future social skills for job duties and activities.
  20. I agree with ThatOneRussian "Xeon or a 5960X" also a 5820k and 5830k could be used if the budget is sub 2k.
