  1. I just bought it, solid choice imo. IPS is only good once you get a working unit and with the high rate of failures and returns its just not worth it. If you get it and it doesnt break thats great! but the QA could just come right after the return window. I know the colors are great on it however with the bleeding, returns (several times) and price tag, it all adds up to a monitor that is just not ready yet. The dell has great QA and if you are competitive in gaming is the better monitor due to naturally better motion clarity and faster repose times. All in all its a preference, i had the money for both but chose the product i knew would last. My build is meant to last so i had to choose the monitor the same way.
  2. OP is this a statement or a question about what motherboard you could use?
  3. You could try to slot the two cards as far apart as possible to limit the static being picked up?
  4. Way to much to sate everyhing but hope this helps mate!
  5. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/rh3JFT I didnt spend long but something like this would do you well.
  6. Get this one its better and already has something you will need. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=850+evo&N=-1&isNodeId=1 why you need this one. I has better build quality and is faster in the long run of things, It comes with the software to clone your OS on your HDD drive to the SSD for easy and carefree install. Also the price is or is within dollars of same price. I have one myself and it is worth it. If you bought the other for one thing you will have to download the migration software.
  7. If you can take the frames you are getting then a ssd will be a nice little boost wont affect games but the laptop will be more snappy and lots better on boot and load times. You will get a slight boost in battery life aswell.
  8. as far as LEDs go do you like the thermaltake ring led lights? I recently bought some and i really like them as opposed to the over bright and often saturated typical leds as a bonus you can change the colors to 256 different ones and even remember the settings on reboot combine this with the hue+ fro leds and you have a awesome leds setup with tons of options that will all be remembered on boot and can be changed at anytime for future builds and mood change.
  9. ATM top pick would likely be either the 5820k or 5830k. The 980ti is currently the best unless you drop 1k for a 5% difference at best getting the titan edition.
  10. can you post the specs?
  11. Exactly my views exactly. Bonus: Its hugely compatible with other boards, amd and intel alike.
  12. anytime glad too, I have an ATX board this one >>>> Asus Maximus Formula VIII It has extra room and support for E-ATX.
  13. I feel that this would be faster and better to read about as an individual in a book, I have done it on a 2008 version if memory serves and its just too much information to tell, you can try youtube or maybe download a book and just read like the installation portion, after all reading never dies people just prefer to ask instead of research.
  14. hyper 212 even better if you get 2 fan version. I have one on my I2500k and its so solid and quiet i didn't get the hype and the reviews before i got it myself.
  15. I recently bought a x71 and it have literally has all you could want. I like the p5 like you but i have a cat so the whole open case thing wasnt gonna do it for cat hair also the case will need cleaning from dust like once a month, The x71 in price is great when you see that its a rip off of a 360$ case from corsair the 900D its price make it the best decision imo, I know that people like the Phanteks but you dont gain anything really imo, Also the x71 is quality built i have been messing with my build using it for a week and i am still happy to see the case and literally spent a month looking at every e-atx case and a few atx cases EDIT: afterthought the x9 looks interesting depending on what you going for like a small build or what not it looks like a small version of the x71.
  16. Building your own pc will get you much better performance for you dollar. It will also be relevant and last much longer than a Laptop.
  17. I recently upgraded and while i cant honestly say that i have tested games and such depending on your needs its a worthwhile upgrade. The IPC or instructions per clock are better and you gain on board graphics inside the chip its self, this is very useful if you have ever had a gpu (die) and you need your computer up and going. If you like emulating like dolphin or pcx2 it is a major upgrade, along with the support for the latest "stuff" like usb-c or ddr4. In cpu bound games will see a little-to big noticeable difference depending on the game, I would say all and all that it would be a sufficient upgrade i did it went big and happy too.
  18. I was not able to many responses but after some time and troubleshooting i was able to resolve my issue. The computer is booting correctly with no issues.
  19. Thank you for sharing and helping. I will try anything and take any advice I am given..
  20. was he able to resolve the issue? and by wonr way you mean even if if the cables fit make sure they are in the correct orientation? I had tried a second psu with a non modular design so i was sure that at least the cable were correct i will keep this in mind and thank you for helping.
  21. Hey guys so, recently I got all my pc parts in over the weekend but was stopped by a error code on the Asus Formula VIII the error is 99 for Super initialization according to the manual. I have to my knowledge done nothing out of sorts or wrong building the pc, things went smoothly. I removed all unnecessary parts and left only my cpu, m.2 950 and 1 stick of ram. When i power my pc on all fans except the ones on my h115I turn on but the h115i does not even light up almost like it has yet to reach that part of boot or does not have power? The motherboards other fan headers work and plugging in a old cpu fan (i didnt mount it just testing the power to the cpu fan) it did turn on the moment the computer was turn on. : When I Boot: I never see a bios screen the monitor connected by to the onboard motherboard stays black then the motherboard goes thru flashing codes until it stops on 99, the light on the board goes to boot. During this time the H115I never lights up or begins to spin its fans. What i have tried: Cmos removal, reinstalling every single component. I have check the cpu and pins and i see no damage. What i will try after work today: I will update or "flash the bios" If this does not work i fear something is broken and a dreaded RMA process. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I really want to see this thing come together after all the waiting and saving i have done! I have no problems uploading some pictures or video but it would be late tonight before i can do so. 22. Thank you for that link that answers my question!
  23. My apologies for lack of clarity i am going for triple 1080 then a single 1080 top, 4 monitors total. only the bottom 3 will have surround going for gaming.
  24. I want to do gaming with a surround setup and have a fourth monitor at the top for steam, curse, youtube, console gaming and streams. I am eventually going to get skylake in the near future but i wanted to know if i should upgrade to skylake first or if i should go ahead with my quad monitor setup.I want to be playing the latest games on high-ultra, will this setup with my 2500k run fine? I have yet to find a monitor sub $200 that i like just yet. Any recommendations? I do believe i will eventually get a single monitor for 1440p but that will be more than half a year away.
