  1. Hey there Sorry for delayed reply. Basically I'm tryna get just better wifi and more stable wifi. I'll chat to my isp about about supplying my own router. What I'm also tryna do is not throw away my nighthawk devices in replacement of this new router. I hope hoping netgear had a router that can utilize the nighthawk satellites rather then making them useless
  2. Hi Team I currently have the nighthawk Mk63 package, (router + 2 satellites) im looking to move away from my ISP provided router. what i want to know is, is there a Netgear modem that can integrate my mesh system? rather than having to plug the mesh router to the modem? id like to utilise the new modem/router in my office and spread the units around the rest of my property. im unsure if the mesh router can be changed to a satellite? Cheers Chris
  3. I think Asus has an overclock setting to can enable in the bios? could be informing you of that. not sure, never seen that before
  4. Doesnt seem like its moved at all from idle temps. your fans are working hard from what i can tell
  5. you are running a stock cooler? whats your ambient temperatures?
  6. wow 60 at idle. id agree with @Ebie reseat and repaste, something is clearly wrong
  7. try stress testing on stock settings and see what the temps are?
  8. Welcome! ill claim the # first on your first post! what brand of power supply? IMO ive used cheap ones before, and never had issues. and you specs dont seems hugely power demanding.
  9. the APU's for ryzen will be released this feburary, the new CPU is in april. IMO the ryzen 5 1600 is more better from a price to performance aspect . so you can save a few bucks there. if you are tending to do a mild overclock, the performance difference would be negligible. Check the cpu specs for Ram speed. yes the motherboard can handle up to 3200. but users of ryzen are experiencing issues with ram. check this link here: https://www.amd.com/en/products/cpu/amd-ryzen-5-1600, click specification, then click system memory. i would also suggest looking at the qvl for memory. to see if the ram is compatible with the ryzen cpu. also if you can, i would find a dual channel kit. 2 x 4gb ram sticks. SSD wise, the motherboard can support M.2, you could look at an m.2 solution (sata not nvme) this is optional. IMO i like it because you dont need to run a sata and power cable. the rest looks pretty good! have fun!
  10. I didnt know you could just update the chipset with a bios update? but you would be onto something board may have newer chipsets for the new cpu. but from what ive read they should also be supported on the current chipsets as well - with a bios update hence this may lower the prices on current boards
  11. oh 2019.. thats ages away i was gonna hold off buying a cpu if it was like the next month or so..
  12. What is the expected date on ryzen 2? and is this a new iteration to the current cpu line up? i read somewhere its only mobile chips and apu's that are launching?
  13. I think you need to change the Sata Settings to RAID EFI? IIRC NvME requires some other setting. EDIT: Also saw if you pull the power plug out for a few seconds and plug it back in, it might work
