Both scoreboards are now updated. If you don't see your score it is probably because you did not include a screenshot of GPUz with your submission. I need this for both Valley and Superposition. Gotta have some way to check clocks

OK, found a quick way to do 4k test so this is my official input for each individual and average FPS leaderboard in case someone does update the tables. @Masada02 ?

I needed to dial the OC of GPU's back a bit since it was not stable at 4k. Here are the scores:

    1080p Extreme HD:
    CPU: i7 6950X 4.4 Ghz
    GPUs: 2x1080ti 2062Mhz 5905Mhz Memory
    Score: 7663
    FPS: 183.2

    1440p:
    CPU: i7 6950X 4.4 Ghz
    GPUs: 2x1080ti 2062Mhz 5905Mhz Memory
    Score: 7248
    FPS: 173.2

    4k:
    CPU: i7 6950X 4.4 Ghz
    GPUs: 2x1080ti 2062Mhz 5905Mhz Memory
    Score: 4033
    FPS: 96.4

Judging by those numbers I have been severely bottlenecked in 1080p ;-)

Psssshhhh. That 7800X should get to 4.6-4.7 easy. Pushing further with start to require some luck.

7800X doesn't get hot either. It's only 6 cores. When I had mine (briefy) at 5.0ghz it would draw around 200W in Cinebench. That's not difficult to cool at all.

Gaming performance will be hit and miss until people start updating things for the new cache design. And by "miss" I mean still better than a 1600, but not as good as a 7700K. Also, this really only matters at really high framerates, if you're not there then it's not going to matter.

OP, start at 4.5 and 1.3v with AVX -3 and AVX512 -5. Then just up the multiplier until that voltage won't cut it anymore. Once that happens, drop back down to the last multiplier that worked and start reducing voltage from there until you find the point where it becomes unstable.

After a bunch of tweaking, here's my 8700k in the super tiny Dr. Zaber Sentry with a low profile air cooler. Everyday settings. May try to push further just because.

You know, 171 in single threaded might be the highest I've seen an AMD CPU without extreme cooling. It's still not great, but at least it isn't awful.

Oh no, a developer adds cosmetic items to a game which you can either get from playing the game or pay for the ones you want! and not just that, if you go with the latter, 50% of the money goes towards esport teams instead of the developers!

What a terrible thing to do!

    /sarcasm

    Edit:
Actually, I think these are really good news. I think this is a great example of how to do lootboxes properly.
    1) Release the game at full price.
    2) Constantly release patches which adds new characters, tweak things, new maps etc, for free.
    3) Have cosmetic things which you can either get from lootboxes (which you earn by simply playing the game), or by buying specific skins with money.
    4) Give some of the money you earn from lootboxes (50% is a big chunk) to the esport teams to support them.

On top of that, you can get one free skin of your choice for free.

    I see this as a win-win-win situation.
Players gets a great game with gets additional content for free. On top of that you never feel like you lost because someone had spent more money than you. Blizzard wins by having a reliable stream of revenue to fund future content with. eSports wins by getting funded by the developers themselves. Good job Blizzard!

Masada02 got a reaction from Gamboodle in As of now, what is the best VR headset?
Eh, I currently own both and the Vive I'd say is slightly better. Only because of the wireless lighthouses and longer stock cable and game support. The Rift is a lot more comfortable, has better controllers, and is a ton cheaper though.

If you are just wanting to try it out the Rift package at $350 is incredibly hard to pass up.

Comfort wise it goes to the Rift, flexibility and ease of setup goes to the Vive.

Ya there's currently a single Noctua 92mm fan at 820rpm spinning in my PC and I still think it needs to be quieter.

I've only got one screw through it right now. With all the long wires that I've had to hide back there I only have one of the threads in the SSD available. Once I get some shorter custom wires I should be able to improve the mounting of that assembly.

Well, it all fits. Temps are pretty ok too. I ended up ditching trying to fit my (extremely high bin) 5960x in there since there just wasn't a good cooling solution available. Went with an 8700k and a Cryorg C7 (now with a Noctua fan) and it's all good. No overclocks are possible, but it runs at stock just fine.

As mentioned earlier, for the Zotac 1080 To Mini, had to go with low profile PCIE connections as well as cutting one of the rivets for the serial number plate to clear the actual PCB of the card.

If it's anything like the Predator (which it certainly looks like) then yes. It's essentially one of their copper rads, D5 PWM pump, and a small reservoir in a nice housing with a custom PCB to power the fans. All of these use standard fittings and you can essentially customize this into a low profile custom loop. That's why I have the Predator 360. Custom loop cooling and customization, and low profile looks.

The fittings aren't the easiest to get a hold of, but they are obtainable from other online sources.

Just for reference, TN panels receive a lot of hate because older versions sucked complete ass for color reproduction and viewing angles. Modern TN though has gotten a lot better, but most people haven't had the chance to see one or just bought an IPS instead. IPS and other tech is still better for color reproduction, but the "downsides" of going TN aren't nearly as bad as they once were.
