  1. Hey guys, thank you for everyone who was kind to answer my question right here. I just want to give you an update. Apparently the CPU issue was on Dota 2's side. I've been closely monitoring my CPU usage every update they had, and the recent update fixed the cpu usage here's, the screenshot. So, I can play this one out for the meantime while I save for an upgrage. Thank you all
  2. I will keep this in mind and do it tomorrow morning. I will keep you posted for the updates, thank you so much
  3. Yes, I just restarted it now. Don't know how to read these things so here's a screenshot
  4. Oh! I was actually considering an AMD processor but wasn't sure if its compatible with 1155 motherboard. Technicians often tell me its an obsolete motherboard. Thanks for this
  5. Alright, seems there's no other way for it. Any processors you can recommend? Apart from dota 2, I also play AC Blackflag and Tekken 7. Maybe you can recommend something for me to play these games as well, just my upgrade can last a few more years.
  6. I didn't understand how it works until @unclewebb told me now. So that was my bad
  7. Yikes! my bad, I'll set it back to default now. However, the problem already occurred even before I set the setting to 2 processors.
  8. I'm considering that part already, still saving for a processor till the end of the month. Is there any possible work around? Just for the moment, while I'm saving for an upgrade.
  9. Recently dota 2 a steam game had an update with battle pass, somehow the game started to spike its CPU process. Before, I can still browse chrome with multiple tabs, open Adobe apps and play. I tried troubleshooting it myself guided by other forums and answers from users that had the same problem and had it fixed. Here are my specs: intel i3-3240 8gb of Ram GTX 750 TI My troubleshooting so far - CPU temperature is in normal condition with average of 45C in idle and not above 65C when launching apps - GPU is enabled for the game using windows apps - Checked for possible bottleneck, its compatible - Scanned my pc for potential virus, adware cleaner managed to catch one - Minimized the video settings in-game - Tweaked the nvidia control panel (VSync off) and other stuff - Most recently used the 2 cores from msconfig setting - Played without any app running on the background, but it still uses 100% CPU as seen in the screenshot I really tried to sort this thing out using the internet, I hope someone with better knowledge can help me out. Thanks P.S. I know someone already posted something similar here, however that post didn't helped me that much
