    Mr.Humble got a reaction from Flying Sausages in R5 3600 or R7 2700?
I'd go with the faster 3600 - Photoshop and some video editing software prefer speed over number of threads, and gaming performance of the 3600 is not much behind the 3700X. It will do 1440p completely fine.

If you actually have a use case for more cores, the 2700X is a great option too.

What you have in mind seems great already but I'd recommend seeing how the stock fans perform before deciding on whether or not to replace them. The included Dynamic X2 GP-14's are pretty good already.

What if I get this icon while hot-swap is disabled? Is there a Windows setting for this?

Those are sequential numbers which play very little role in system load times. Random performance of NVMe SSDs is often only slightly better than of SATA SSDs.

No problem! Hopefully you'll be happy with your new SSD when you get it

You mean that on the taskbar there is the eject option?

Go to bios, and disable Hot-Swap for the C:drive.

It can be done using specialized software such as Paragon Disk Manager, but most likely you won't notice an improvement.

I'd suggest you uninstall unused programs or clean install Windows on your current SSD.

If you have Microsoft account associated with your device the license will transfer upon login. Otherwise you just activate it with the old license key.

    Team Contacts:

First of all, thank you all for taking the time out of your day and answering to my stupid question! That is way more discussion that i was expecting, and i am truly grateful for it. All your stories and perspectives truly gave me something to think about!

But now it is time to make a decision. If you have something to add, then do it now.

I decided to go with Normal Glasses + Prescription sunglasses.

    Why glasses:
One big reason, sexy Cost. I was looking for the solution for the next 2-3 years, and 1 year of contacts already eats through all my budget, the quality lenses really are expensive. And as the Team Contacts said themselves, don't use the cheap stuff.
Also i am already accustomed with glasses, and i like the fact that they provide protection.

    Why not transitions:
Sorry @captain_to_fire, @Cora_Lie and @Mr.Humble, but i decided not to go for transitions.
It is just kinda annoying when you go from outside to inside, and i agree with @BuckGup, they are kinda too nerdy looking, especially if they are half transitioned. Also they don't get dark enough for my summers.
This is just how transitions look most of the time ?‍♀️:

So i decided to go with some good looking normal glasses, and maybe polarized sunglasses, aviators most likely.

    It does!
Because I'm apparently an idiot. I put an old CPU heat sink on my table and my mouse cord dragged across it. It sounded so much like the menu sounds...
probably because it made that same sound when I was in the menu, because the cord was dragging then, too. Derp.

No need. Download the media creation tool and let it create it for you. If that errors out, download the ISO and write it with rufus.

Mr.Humble got a reaction from Bloody-George in SSD vs HDD pls help
SSD is great for OS, games, programs, and frequently used data or workloads benefiting from fast load times - photo and video editing, databases etc.

HDDs are great for storage of large volumes of data that isn't accessed as often - finished projects, media files, backups etc. They're also great for NAS setups and generally everywhere where you need large capacity.

These days HDDs only really make sense when you're buying 3TB+ capacity drives, as 1TB SSDs, even NVMe ones, are ridiculously cheap right now.

its more reliable, its smaller. it doesnt make any noise. it renderes faster.

games like skyrim that load in on the go benefit from it. and its better to pagefile to.

an SSD is a must anyways for windows 10 for a great experience, and getting a 1TB SSD does not cost a whole lot. compared to a 1TB HDD + 250GB SSD solution.
