  1. Hey, so I started streaming about 6 months ago and since my computer has limited resources, I have been thinking about turning my laptop into a streaming PC, to offload the OBS processing from my gaming PC. On my gaming PC, I'm running i7 5820k OCd to 4,3Ghz and GTX 1080 Ti. So every bit of performance matters. Right now I run games and OBS on it. My monitor is running 1440p144 through DisplayPort, but I stream at 936p60. I'm fully aware that I should upgrade my computer, but that's not an option right now, as it would require upgrading GPU, CPU and mobo for reasons I'm not going to go into right now. However, using $100 to even $400 for a capture card could be doable. The laptop is HP ProBook 450. i5 3230M @ 2.60GHz / Radeon HD 8750M / USB 3.0. It's not a power house, but should be enough to run the capture and OBS(?) I would love to be able to keep playing at higher than 60 fps frame rate, while streaming at 936p60 is fine. (1080p60 capture I guess) So the biggest open questions are... I was looking at Elgato HD60 S+ (https://www.elgato.com/en/game-capture-hd60-s-plus) but it seems like it can pass through at 60 fps? Not sure if just the capture? Everything else on the card seems good for my needs. Elgato 4K60 S+ seems like an overkill, and costs a lot more for it. Would it be possible to mirror the 1440p144 DisplayPort output on my gaming computer to 1440p144 HDMI output that I would then connect to a capture card? (so one DP cable to monitor and a different HDMI cable to capture card) and that way not having to worry about the pass through? Mirroring to different resolution (1080p)? Performance hit from mirroring? Any other capture card recommendations?
  2. This game is something else The Outer Worlds
  3. Just getting started. The Outer Worlds
  4. This is most likely caused by MacOS Catalina update. This is something that the developer and/or Steam has to fix. https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SteamClientBeta/discussions/3/3166519278499204165/
  5. What was the problem? Just curious in-case someone else has the same problem too.
  6. Looking at everything in the topic and the linked articles, this just seems to be the already announced "one launcher" stuff they are working on. I got Battlefield V added to my Steam right now >>
  7. While you are right that there might be better discounts, there's still a huge stack of games on Steam sale cheaper than right now. So sure, you could wait for a better deal, but that means you are not playing, and especially on multiplayer games it's important to buy them before player base dies down.
  8. Welcome back to the PC gaming scene. There's actually way more great free-to-play games these days, so you might not even need to spend money (if you don't want) and a lot more with just few dollars. Destiny 2 is now free-to-play on Steam, however the content is not included. That is payed DLC. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1085660/Destiny_2/ Since you liked Destiny, I would highly recommend also checking out free-to-play Warframe https://store.steampowered.com/app/230410/Warframe/ CS:GO is now free-to-play https://store.steampowered.com/app/730/CounterStrike_Global_Offensive/ Other than that (on Steam), I would recommend checking the Steam's free-to-play section https://store.steampowered.com/genre/Free to Play/ and there is Steam sale coming soon, so you could wait a little to get a deal on any game. Epic games store has a weekly free game, not so many multiplayer games yet though https://www.epicgames.com Xbox Game Pass for PC has a crazy value, for 3.99$/month you get access to over 100 games, including Gears 5, Sea of Thieves, Forza, Metro Exodus and DiRT Rally 2.
  9. PUBG You can run but you can't hide
  10. There's no photo mode yet, but Gears 5 looks awesome
  11. Here's few of my latest PUBG shots
  12. I mean, there's the Overlord series https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/1229/Overlord_Ultimate_Evil_Collection/
  13. I think it will integrate into the Play store and games like Assassins Greed that won't run on mobile devices directly will only show up for Stadia users. You'll pay for all of the games just like on any other store platform.
