  1. Good Afternoon Every time I go Nvidia control panel 3D settings to turn off Vertical Sync, it turns its self back on after reboot. It was to my understanding, that if you had a 144hz Gsync monitor that Vsync is supposed to be off. Ive tried the following steps prior to posting: 1. Reset PC 2. Clean install via DDU 3. Verified latest driver for GPU and OS 4. Tried different AAA games Below is my rig setup Driver: 368.95 VBios: 84.00.36.00.90 Monitor: Asus Rog Swift 144HZ x 3 MoBoard: Asus Z170 Deluxe Bios: 2201 VGA: EVGA GTX 980 Ti SLI PSU: Corsair AX1200i CPU: Intel i7 6700 Unlocked MEM: Corsair 2133 DDR4 HDD: 256GB SSD x3 COOLER: Corsair CWCH1000i Water Cooler OS: Windows 10
  2. Hello I have about 7 or 8 Android / PC machines of various types in my home. I also have a few QNAP NAS machines, Rasperberry PI's, NUC. I would like to remotely monitor system performance for each system on one device. Specifically, I would like to use something similar to windows event viewer. I could then filter the logs to give me an alert when I have a system fail, kernel corruption etc. Is there a program that does this?
  3. No walking on walls or "jump packs". Id like to see a fusion of WW1 History to accompany the game.
  4. Hello Got my self a first world problem. I have a PC, Xbox, PS4. My gaming friends are scattered across all these platforms. So when I play the Division on PC, all my friends are on PS4 / Xbox. I know cross platform play is happening with a few select games, just none of the games I play. My next thought was to buy the game on two different platforms. Well that is expensive and not practical. Other than bribing my friends to play on the platform I am on, how do I solve something like this?
  5. Would be a great upgrade Agree with M. Yurizaki. 6700K isn't worth the cost for what you are going to be doing.
  6. What are the results of doing a speedtest?
  7. Perhaps the screw got loose? Sometimes a SATA / Power cord can get too close to the fan. Seems simple, but you would be surprised how many people miss it (circling my face)
  8. Yesterday - Played Doom on PC and the game just shuts down after 20 minutes of play. No errors, no BSOD, No overheating. installed new nvidia driver. So what was it? the date on when the driver was released was different that what was published. Never in a million years.........
  9. So last week, I got onboard the hype train regarding the upcoming 1070, 1080 cards. Why is the avg price for a gtx 980ti still 600 US dollars?
  10. Is there a bandwidth cap set in steam or on PC? Also look in your event logs to see if an error code is showing.
  11. Can you do a speedtest or ping the steam server? I don't know if this is possible or not, but if you were able, could you post a video demonstrating your issue?
  12. I assumed that you were using an Ethernet connection. Unplug your modem, remove cable--->insert cable--->turn on modem power----> Wait for the LED's to go green----> plug in router. Try that, let me know
  13. Do you have a 3rd part firewall or anti malware activated? Go to msconfig and use clean boot configuration. Try again. That will it least narrow down some troubleshooting
  14. How are you formatting the CD? Did you media creation tool?
  15. Sounds like you have the option selected to pause downloads while gaming. It is on by default and used to improve multiplayer latency
  16. I don't think team viewer would be efficient for me because I have more than one monitor that I would like to monitor.
