If getting the better motherboard requires you to get a worse CPU to fit your budget, then that would be a silly decision. The differences between the two motherboards would be much less noticeable compared to a having a better CPU.

I prefer the black one. The blue is too flashy IMO.

The motherboard probably is just messed up. Not all that uncommon.

Anyways, at usb 2 speeds it would be very hard to use the 128gigs

I've never had issues with them. If you get the cloud twos they are actually powered with a USB dongle so driving them shouldn't be an issue. As for the mic, it's pretty decent. Depends on your standards if it will be OK.

Yeah but people on here most likely wouldn't buy a 980 at $350 after Pascal. From previous generational upgrades the new gpu around that price would cream the 980.
