  1. I am looking for a 1440p, 27" monitor that's at least 400 nits. Its main purpose is to be a secondary monitor that will be used for light media consumption and general day to day tasks. I have looked around and most are geared towards gaming and are not really inline with what I am looking for, I'm based in Ireland so suggestions that are available in Europe are key. Any and all recommendations welcome, cheers!
  2. On the manufacturers site it says that the card includes their "Zero Frozr Tech" which has the fans stop on low load scenarios. I'm really at a loss.
  3. Thats another thing, im unsure. I have the custom fan curve set to put the fan at 30% when the GPU hits 50'C but it just makes both fans spin up. Both Afterburner and NZXT Cam have the GPU temps below 40'C right now so im completely lost.
  4. Hey, I recently put together my new build and am having an issue with my GPU fans. So I have a RTX 2070 Super, the MSI Gaming X Twin Frozr 7 variant, and the fan closest ot the io is constantly spinning at a low RPM. I have tried changing the drivers, setting custom fan curves settings in the Bios and custom fan settings in Afterburner. Nothing has worked and the card still has the fan spinning at temps of 40'C. Any other ideas?
  5. Hey, So I am looking at getting a new tv. Looking to get my first 4k tv actually. The three that I am stuck between are the: Samsung UE43NU7020 43 inch Panasonic 49" Ultra HD 4K TX49FX550B LG 49UK6300PLB 49-Inch UHD 4K I want the best value and quality for money and all these fit into my budget just right. Any and all advice are greatly appreciated.
  6. This projector looks incredible. The idea of it being super portable and being able to be so close to the wall that even smaller rooms can enjoy a large projected image is brilliant. Well done LG. You filled a gap in the market that people didn't even know they wanted.
  7. If I won the ZBOX then I would give it to my father as a Xmas present. It is exactly what he wants. A simple and portable computer. The ZBOX fits the criteria and I know it would make his Xmas. Also I think it is an excellent piece of tech.
  8. So I just built a new system and the Graphics card, which is an Msi Geforce GTX 960 4GB, fans will not spin up when I am playing games such as GTA 5. I loaded the game and set up my settings and then I ran the games benchmark. Started around the 60 fps mark then dropped to 30 fps. The fans never seem to spin up. Help meh ppl pls. I is helpless. 9. I will also be using the system for video editing, photo-shopping and college work as I am a games development student.
  10. I haven't finalized these component choices (might change cpu cooler if I find a better one for same price of around 30-35 euro) but here is the general look of my build: Case: Corsair Graphite 780T Black CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 960 4gb MB: Gigabyte Z97-X Gaming-5 RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16gb (2x 8gb) 2400Mhz HDD: Seagate 2TB Barracuda CPU Cooler: Arctic Cooling Freezer Xtreme Rev.2 Universal CPU Cooler Fans: Corsair Air Series sp120 Red (x3) PSU: Corsair 750w CS750M Semi-Modular 80+ Gold
  11. Hey guys. I am new to the forums but have joined now because I am finally going into pc gaming. I am purchasing my components for my PC pretty soon and will update this post with a list of the components that I make my final decision on. Right now I am a bit nervous going into my first build. I have watched numerous build guide videos by both linus and many other YouTubers. I am making this post today to ask for some extra tips and tricks for doing my first build. I have purchased some anti-static wrist straps, a multi-bit tool kit and have my other essential tools. Any advice would be very appreciated.
