So I have had my PC for about a month now, and have had no problems, which is as too expect with a 3930k, 16gb of ram, and a GTX 780. I am running the 3930k with an antec kuhler h2o 650. I know that this is a single 120mm aio, but it was the best deal I could find at the moment. So I have been playing smite. CSGO, Borderlands 2, and Bulletstorm on maxed settings at 1080p without any issues, until today that is. I was in the middle of a smite game. And the led indicator on my aio turned bright red indicating that it was running really hot. And with the red led, came rpm adjustments on the fan, which made the rad fan spin very fast. I checked my temps, and all 6 cores were above 60c. Now, I have never even touched 60c once on smite ever before today, so I really have no clue what it was. But then I was playing CS, and the same thing happened. So I turned all the gfx settings down to low, and even changed res to 720p, but nothing would cool it down. I then sent into the bios, and turned turbo mode off, and even disabled 2 cores, but it was still running super hot. I decided to let it cool off overnight. But I am worried about it. Do I just need a new cooler, or what?
