  1. The non battery case one looks super impractical especially for a phone w/ massive bezels as it is, however the battery case version looks rather slick imo. Only battery case on the market w/ a lightning port on the outside afaik.
  2. Yeah you're right, just updated the poll with a third option for all questions. And yes I know the feeling! Bought a Titan X and was forced to install a waterblock due to the unbearable noise/high temperatures.
  3. Yeah I personally don't trust crowdfunding campaigns, I'll stick w/ my Bluetooth headphones until I see I can actually buy this on amazon at some point in the future.
  4. Most people I know always buy cases for their phones, so might as well get a case that protects your phone and gives you the additional benefits of a headphone jack and dual lighting ports.
  5. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/daptr-iphone-7-cases-dual-lightning-3-5mm-audio-headphones--2#/ https://vimeo.com/187727073 To those of you who have the iPhone 7 or were hesitant to picking one up due to no headphone jack, the solution is finally here! A small company by the name of daptr is launching two dual lightning/3.5mm jack cases this year. One that adds some considerable length to the phone but no extra thickness, and a battery case that doesn't add any additional length but more thickness & bulk. Personally I think this is fantastic product since the case will both protect your phone as well as eliminate the need to worry about any stupid dongles, connecting with Bluetooth etc. I'd love to pick one up but I would like to see how this campaign fares after a couple weeks first, what do you guys think? Current pricing is as follows:
  6. Yeah I'm thinking I might pick up one 1080 for now and buy a 2nd one later. If there ends up being too many problems with SLI I'll just return the 2nd card and wait for the Ti
  7. Yeah my main reason for wanting two is the benefits it will give me with VR & being able to max out games at Ultra while still getting 100fps on my monitor. Honestly going from a single 980 Ti to a single 1080 is too marginal of an upgrade for me. As for the Ti I don't think it's worth waiting another 2-3 months when the Titan X is so close in performance to a 1080 as it is. Let alone if it's going to be cut down
  8. Hey Guys, with the launch of the Titan X tomorrow I'm having a hard time deciding whether it would be smarter to get a single Titan X or two 1080s in SLI. The Titan X will cost 1450$ total with sales tax from the Nvidia store and an EK waterblock. However if I decide to go with the 1080s I'm gonna go with the EVGA Hybrid edition which is launching this week for 730$/ so 1460$ total for SLI. So essentially both options cost about the same, but the 1080s will obviously destroy the Titan especially after seeing those early 3DMARK scores that were posted today. http://videocardz.com/62738/nvidia-titan-x-pascal-3dmark-performance My main concern is I'm aware of the numerous problems that come with SLI, so should I go with the best price/perf ratio w/ the 1080s and deal with SLI issues or pick up a single Titan X which is ridiculously overpriced but it won't give me any issues in the future & is guaranteed to work flawlessly with every game. Also if you guys read my sig my current setup is a single Acer X34 3440x1440 monitor and an HTC VIVE VR headset. Anyways any kind of advice will be greatly appreciated!
  9. Hmmm that doesn't seem too bad. I currently run the 980 Ti Hybrid atm and with a single 120 the hottest it ever gets is around 60c
  10. So how much extra heat do think 1 GPU will add to the loop, just a couple degrees?
  11. Alright cool I think I'll be leaning towards towards the waterblock then, EKWB also confirmed that the ETA for their Titan Block is end of August whereas EVGA has said they're still in early stages of developing a Hybrid cooler for it.
  12. I'm currently planning on getting the new Titan X, unfortunately it's reference only so my two options are either get a EK waterblock and integrate that with my Predator 360 w/ QDCs or get a separate EVGA Hybrid upgrade kit which is confirmed to be coming out at some point in the future. My concern with the EK option is how much extra heat would that add to my loop w/ my 6700k running at 1.3v/4.6ghz vs essentially having a completely separate loop with the EVGA solution. Anyways any advice would be greatly appreciated! P.S. I am fully aware of the horrible value for performance ratio the new Titan has. So no need to lecture me on that please. I don't want 1080 SLI & I don't want to wait another 2-3 months for the potential 1080 Ti. I currently run a 3440x1440 monitor and I also just recently bought myself an HTC Vive. So even though I'm fully aware the price is ridiculous, I honestly think the Titan X is my best option in my current situation and for the long term
  13. Found first actual photo of the card that isn't just a CG render. Seems to still be carrying the "Geforce GTX" branding despite that being removed everywhere from the cards official title on Nvidia's site. https://twitter.com/AndrewYNg/status/757734438436343808
  14. For the 1080 Ti definitely, as for the Titan the best we can expect is a Hybrid/AIO version from EVGA.
