  1. Oh, yeah that may help. Sorry about that. It usually says "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED" or something along the lines of that, I believe.
  2. I had an issue awhile back that I posted on the forums a few months ago that eventually resolved itself through an odd solution. My PC had been acting slow, often would crash with the BSOD and would then say that the hard drive couldn't be find when I tried to reboot the PC. Most of the responses implied it was the HDD dying, however, after awhile I removed the Hard Drive and put it back in the PC and the issue was gone for a good month or two. It returned a little while ago and that same solution wasn't working, so I assumed that the Hard Drive was in fact the issue so I replaced it with a new SSD. It turns out, it wasn't an issue with the Hard Drive, i'm still having the same issue. At this point, i'm at a loss. The constant blue screens, the PC freezing up and then sometimes not even being able to start it due to the issue is driving me insane. Here are the specs: Alienware X51 Desktop Windows 10 64-bit Windows 7 was originally installed. I've had the PC for about 3 years. CPU: Intel Core i7 2600 @ 3.40GHz Video Card: 1023MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti (Gigabyte) Motherboard: Alienware 08PG26 I'm also using an External Hardrive for games and such. OneDrive link to Perfmon Files: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=DACF9705A8C6D8A6!565&authkey=!AMSt8AFT1ZTiKHI&ithint=folder%2czip Thanks in advance. Edit: I'm usually greeted with the error "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED" on the BSOD.
  3. Lot's of trial and error. Believe it or not...I may have fixed it. I know for a fact i'm going to get a BSOD simply because I said that...but regardless. It hasn't gotten slow, nor has it Blue Screened. All I did, was take out the hard drive and put it back in (which was to see if the hardrive became loose or something.) I hope that's all it was (even though I doubt i'll be that lucky). I'm going to give it another day, and if nothing happens again i'm going to mark the thread as answered. I truly appreciate your help everyone, thank you.
  4. I accidentally linked to the folder rather than the file itself. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ayt3ghuco8df70x/071215-53399-01.zip?dl=0 ^That should work now.
  5. I just dug it up out of the closet earlier. I assume I should finish backing up my files before I try repairing? As for the dump files, I didn't have any to provide due to the fact that I didn't have the proper settings enabled beforehand. There's only been one BSOD since I enabled the settings so I only have one dump file thus far. Here is the dump file: https://www.dropbox.com/home/Dump%20Files
  6. I did this when the BSODs started happening. I just did it again and there's still nothing out of the ordinary.
  7. Alright, i've done so. This was the result: Yeah, i've seen a good amount of hate for Alienware around the internet, though I thought it was for the Laptops instead of the Desktops? I don't know all that much about it. Either way, I needed the X51 for the mobility due to the size of it. I needed to be able to pack it up and take it with me on trips and it's been working great for the past 3 years so, i'm happy with it. Well, up until now of course. Anyway, when it's saying "Internal Hard Disk Drive not found" it says it's unrecognized. When it's actually working...I haven't checked. I'll check on that right now. Edit: Yep, it's showing up.
  8. For the past few days i've been having this problem where seemingly at random, my PC freezes up then immediately proceeds to the Blue Screen for a memory dump. After that, I usually can't reboot the PC for a few minutes because it says to me that "Internal Hard Disk Drive not found, press F1 to retry". It just continues to claim that there's no hard drive recognized for awhile. Eventually it begins to recognize it again and I can reboot the PC as normal until the next time is goes to blue screen which can happen whenever. It's most frequent during gaming, but not restricted to it. It first happened when Dropbox tried syncing alot of file changes and for some reason my PC became very slow and then proceeded to the BSOD. I uninstalled Dropbox and it kept happening at random times, so dropbox isn't the sole cause. I've gotten rid of programs that have seemed to cause trouble in the past few days to no avail. Now today my PC every few moments begins to act very slow and begins to stop responding for a little bit. The programs I almost always have open when these blue screens occur is Skype, Steam, Google Chrome, and a game. My PC is an Alienware X51 Desktop. Here are the Specs: Operating System Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 CPU Intel Core i7 2600 @ 3.40GHz RAM 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz Motherboard Alienware 08PG26 GPU 1023MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti (Gigabyte) Storage 931GB Seagate ST31000524AS ATA Device (SATA) Unfortunately, I don't have any minidump files because I apparently didn't have the proper settings selected for it to make dump files. When it happens again, i'll be sure to post the dump files. The temps of the PC are normal, so I don't believe anything is overheating. That said, I think it's most likely something up with the hard drive. I'm alot more computer illiterate than I should be at this point so i'm most likely wrong. I'm trying to backup my files to an external hard drive but due to how slow my PC is getting sometimes it claims it will take a day to do so. I'm on the verge of opening up my PC and checking the HDD to see if tightening it or cleaning the dust out will help in any way. I want to be sure of what the issue is before I go and replace the HDD. Any type of help would be appreciated. Thanks.
