Hello, I recently bought a laptop with ryzen 2500u, but it came only with 4gb of ram. I'want to upgrade it to 8gb, I have taken the laptop apart and there is another slot free and I can only find the excact ram on ebay, but right now it is not possible for me to buy from Ebay. My laptops ram is hma851s6afr6n-uh and I was looking at KVR24S17S6/4, they are both 1.2V, 1Rx16, CL 17, 4GB, 2400MHz, so-dimm. Should they work together? I know that there is a small chance that they don't work. One diffrence I have seen is that my laptops ram has 4 Big Black Chips on the board while What I am looking at has 9. I have added more ram to laptops before but not from diffrent manufacturers. Thank you for reading!
