2600 seems a tad old, also the same price as the 3770.

Coming from an I5 2300, really need a budget upgrade. The 3770K is really pleasing to me because I don't need to switch the motherboard. but the 4820K is extremely cheap from where I come from, you can get 2 for the price of one 3770K, But the LGA2011 Mobos are pretty scarce and expensive here. Which one would be better for gaming and some light photo/video editing?

Well just looking for something to max out RDR2 when it realeases.

I have a I5 2300 right now, and really need a cheap upgrade. 3770Ks are going for around 100$ where I live right now, and I won't even need to switch out the mobo.

Whelp, I am in the process of upgrading my PC and probably won't finish it until a few months after RDR2 Releases. Is the 2300 so much under the 2500K Stated in the minimum requirements? Or is it just a small difference?
