Its an i3 4130, and it gets beaten in all games by my i5 4440 which is set to run all 4 cores at 3.3GHz at full load (even in Prime95-god I love my H87M Pro). And my i5 4440 in games such as Fallout 4 without mods was bottlenecking my GTX 970. Since a GTX 1070 is around twice as powerful as my GTX 970, the bottleneck will be huge.

On a side note, the i3 4130 is actually worse for gaming than an FX 8350. So its pretty much only good for light gaming with what are now entry level cards (eg. a modern equivalent to the GTX 660), with power powerful graphics cards being the equivalent of burning money.

I've got two and I've had them for about a year now and haven't had any issues. I mostly use them with my NES/SNES via the respective retro receivers.

As an (ex)-owner of a RX470, imma disagree how a RX470 is only for medium 1080P as at high/ultra with no Aa/msaa/ect. I was surpassing 60fps almost always

Yeah prices went up in 2017, but when you start to use SSD you cant go back to HDD, it feels just too slow.
The best solution is a small SSD for OS and other software, and using a HDD for games, but its not possible in most laptops.
PS: Stop quoting yourself and double posting...

For a normal user the PC will feel way faster with i5 SSD combo, just not in frame rates.
 
PS: Personally I would even use a Pentium with 2 core without HT with SSD than using a i7 with 4 cores and 8 threads with HDD for everyday use. (except for games and video editing)

That's a great way to keeps oneself in a perpetual state of 'busy work' whilst never actually completing anything or being productive in any way.
 
In general if one is 'doing it properly' it should take a fair while to get into a given context and then actually become productive in it i.e. getting all of the architecture back into one's skull. I completely fail to see how switching between a battery of projects can be productive... unless of course we are talking about trivial or poorly written garbage that is.

If you're the type of person who wastes money on consoles then it's definitely worth it.
