  1. If it is really that loud, maybe you can try a RMA.
  2. Hi guys, I am looking for a Monitor for programming and CAD drawing. I dont care that much about gaming, so Freesync isnt a must, but would be nice to have. I want to spend between 300-500 €, the most important is to be IPS and 1440p. The ideal would be a 1440p ultrawide, but thats a bit to expensive for me, I just found nice ones in the 700€+ range. What do you recommend to buy? Thanks PS: I am using a GTX 1070, but I dont want to spend more on a G-Sync, if I get a Freesync, it will be for future upgrades.
  3. Norton? Damn, do you have an extra 8GB ram for it?
  4. Its really good for 200$, it can even play games at 1440p (although is better at 1080p), I would say its roughly equivalent to a GTX 970, but with better DX12 support (and more fullspeed vram).
  5. Then buy it, thats really cheap.
  6. 200$? Thats really cheap, but careful, it can be a scam. PS: I sold last month a rx 470 for 330 euros, or 350+$
  7. The board supports ECC, but I dont know about the CPU, I would say no, but wait for more answers.

    Udemy

Hi guys, do you have any experience with Udemy? I am thinking about learning C with Udemy, I know a bit of java and I need C for my next semester in the University, I thought I could try to learn C now in the vacation. Or you do know a better option? Thanks
  9. I would get a R7 1700, the price difference is not that big, and it will last you a long time.
  10. For pure Gaming a r5 is enough, but multitasking the r7 is better, personally I would buy a r7 1700 right now, if I would change my Xeon.
  11. Is the Fan spinning ? If yes, maybe you should try to replace the thermal compound.
  12. Which temperatures? CPU or GPU? MB?
  13. I just sold a used RX 470 for 320€, thats almost tops. And ethereum price dropped a LOT today and yesterday, maybe this will reduce the mining. PS: 13 Jun was 395$, now is 220$.
  14. For me the Steam Sales are just getting worse every time.
  15. Etherium mining is now good to mine with a AMD card, but HD 6450 is way too weak to compensate.
  16. What about normal usage? Gaming and video editing? Anyway is pretty high, did you try to replace the thermal compound?
  17. Like some people already said, this will be ok with multi threaded applications and will be slow with single threaded ones. The mobos are expensive and used, personally I dont like to buy a used mobo, the capacitors are already old, and you never know how long will the mobo last. I dont know your budget, but if you have the money go for a Ryzen 1600 or 1500, or even a g4560.
  18. Personally I think that something in the GTX 1080 Ti range in a Phone will take a really long time, we are approaching the 4nm barrier, we will need a newer way to build GPUs before something this powerfull comes to Phones. But I believe that the top end phones already have something equivalent to a R7 250(correct me if I am wrong). Another problem from phones is the RAM bandwidth, a typical high end phones have something in the 20-30GB/s range, while a high end card something in the 200-500GB/s range.
  19. Thats one of the reason to call a port bad, others being bugs, bad keyboard/mouse support, lack of FOV control, and many others.
  20. I am telling that this is a bad port.
  21. GPU Bottleneck. GTX 1050 Ti is not enough to play Watch Dogs 2 at max. Its a bad optimized game.
  22. If you want to do etherium mining, you should get a AMD GPU.
  23. 2- It is, in some coins, but with AMD GPUs.
  24. Yeah, probably dual could transmit 12K 45HZ but with a lossy compression. But Displayport 1.4 "only" has 25.92 Gbit/s, two could have 51.84 Gbit/s in theory. But a 8K 60HZ stream already has 49.65 Gbit/s, I estimate 12K 45HZ to be around 90 Gbit/s. But of course, with compression you can make it down to 51.84 Gbit/s, but I believe that they will come up with something better than Displayport 1.4 for 12K, before it goes mainstream anyway.
