  1. Where are you from? If you are from the EU you can use without extra fee.
  2. Hi guys, I use Chrome since many years, almost since the beginning when they had like 5% market share, and at the time it was great. But now I think is just getting worse, it doesnt support some resolutions to use iGPU/GPU codec, doesnt support netflix at higher than 720p, and now I am skipping frames on youtube with an E3 1231V3 in 1080p, and not just 1 or 3 frames, like 50+ per video, and of course privacy issues due to the fact that Google archives our data. What browser are you using right now? And if you use Chrome, are you also thinking that its just getting worse? Thanks for the attention.
  3. Looks good, but the 940MX is a glorified iGPU, it has just 384 cuda cores with 64bit bandwidth. But I still would buy it for the price.
  4. If you want FHD, 12-13" and you have a limited budget, you cannot expect to get a premium solution, unless you are going to compile massive programs, you are not going to notice a big difference between a Xeon 28 cores and a Pentium 4 cores. The biggest limitator for programming will be the screen size, 12" is fairly small for programming.
  5. They are not the same as the old days, they are made from cheaper materials now.
  6. Maybe this? https://www.notebookcheck.net/Acer-Swift-1-SF113-31-P2CP.220524.0.html
  7. Ethereum is worth half in comparison to some weeks ago, maybe in the next weeks this hype will be over, lets pray
  8. I believe that youtube just supports up to 1080p with H.264, but I may be wrong.
  9. Stay the same, they are completly different products, maybe the R7 1800x and 1800 will drop a bit, but anyway the best option is the R7 1700.
  10. Your GPU only helps in codecs and resolutions that is made for and is supported by the browser, and dont believe any GPU or browser supports hardware acceleration in 8K.
  11. Hey guys, I am looking for a cheap GPU for my cousin to pair with a E5400 + 4GB, the mobo doesnt support Quad Core. I am thinking about a HD 5670, any other ideas? I also dont trust the PSU, I would rather not use more than 75W. The price can be up to 30$, but I dont think its necessary, E5400 is a really old CPU. He just play light e sports games, like SC II, and he is using right now an ancient 8400 GS with 16 cuda cores. Thanks
  12. Looks good, this is the only situation in which I recommend a i7 7700K, if you are doing only gaming AND are using 144HZ.
  13. It moves the whole drive content, not just the OS, and you can use the free edition.
  14. I used Reflect for it some weeks ago, was really easy and fast. https://www.macrium.com/reflectfree You dont need any USB devices for it.
  15. Monitor and PSU probably have the longest longevity in the computer market nowadays, if you bought a great monitor 5 years ago, its probably still ok today. I know that every few months something new comes, but still doesnt change near as fast as GPU power.
  16. If its retail is no problem, you can use it again in a new PC.
  17. I believe this is fine for a GTX 1060, maybe will botteneck in some games, but overall is ok. I would just upgrade the CPU when you upgrade to a better GPU, if your only goal is gaming. PS: About your work, I dont know much about it, so wait for others answers.
  18. I wouldnt buy any new i5 now, in this price point I would get a R5 1400 or a R5 1500. Intel for me just make sense rightnow with the Pentium G4560 and with the i7 7700K (for people that play on 144-240 HZ).
  19. If you are planning in keeping your GTX 1060, upgrading your CPU will make no sense for gaming. But if you want to do multitasking, and upgrade your GPU, I would get a R7 1700 or a R5 1600.
  20. The question is: Do you need 32GB? Spoiler alert: Most likely not But if you do need, yeah, you can mix it, no problem, just try to match CAS and Frequency.
  21. Its not safe, it may be worth, the drivers will work. Personally I wouldnt do it.
  22. Oh thanks, it looks interesting. I am just not sure if I get a 25" or a 27", right now I am using a 21", so both would be way bigger
