You said when you can get it running again? It was working fine when you shut it down right? Its probably fine if it was just a brief undervoltage and if it stayed on and was operating normally the PSU has something called "hold up time" so a minor flicker shouldnt bother it, especially if idling. We have them all the time here, which is why i have a UPS.

During storms, or even tuning my computer on.

one of the best things is to make sure your Desktop is plugged into a Surge protector power bar, Might already be.
But this well protect your PC if the power shocks your Outlet or what not.

I have fun playing GTA V still, i do hate when modders take everyone and drop them in the same location, I got mad last time and started dropping grenades, finally i was left alone. I have had a few buddies that got banned for spending money that was dropped by a modder. They learned their lesson and now if a modder drops money they just hold it.

I mean modding is ok, there really should have private online mode where stuff like money etc is not effected. I stop playing gta 5, due to the fact it getting really boring after a hour of playing.

dude I had some hacker put everyone into cages and took all my Ammo Blood $190 000 for me to get all my ammo again, thats Kak annoying.

Wish more gaming companies used the Titanfall approach to Hacking (IMO THE BEST WAY) if you caught hacking they don't tell you, but your account gets marked on their end and when you join a game you'll automatically be put in ONLY with other people who are hackers. And just lets them keep playing but only with each other. Nice taste of their own medicine

I wouldn't worry to much buddy, I had modder drop money in my first month playing, never had any blow back or such but yeah try not to make it a habit if you see more people throwing out money. that might draw attention.

Also rockstar only seem to clean house once a year, the modding/hacking is really left unchecked, super upsetting

they have no reason to target innocent players, they just ban the modder and then remove the money. in some cases you can even keep the cars that you recieved.

Guess I'm lucky then.  I have five full grown cats and a new kitten in the house now and they don't go near any of my computers.  But as for clawing furniture and stuff...you can train them not to but give them something they can scratch.  Hence a scratching post or a cat tower.  They do like to go to high places as it makes them feel more secure.  Which is why I'm looking at one of my cats sitting on top of my kitchen cabinet.

Depends on the cat really. Just be sure to not leave wires around because cats just love to bite them. Also, squirting them with water when they're somewhere they're not supposed to be is actually pretty effective, just, uh, don't get carried away and spray your electronics.

Edit: Cats do have some odd love of sitting on keyboards. So either get a keyboard drawer or turn the PC off when you're not using it. If you have issues with the cat sitting on your PC, just put stuff on it, that seems to work.

I have braided cables, but mostly the get ignored. mouse cable gets batted at occasionally.  nothing serious.  depends on the cat tho i think.

Edit - They'll lay on keyboards, so i recommend turning your PC off when not in use.  They also LOVE laptops, because warm, but only for sits.

Why would you use soap?    It'll just leave residue behind and be a icky mess...

There has to be better options.  Like bitter sprays or something?

I think it's imprinting the idea that they shouldn't chew the cord because it tastes absolutely dreadful. Of course, you're aware of why this is.

Most people have dish soap, it's bound to taste awful because of the chemicals, but it isn't harmful in small amounts of consumption.. so the feline should be okay! I would double check though.

XFX (and many others) have a feature where the fans just stop blowing air when the card's idling (or under light load up to 65 ºC or so) to make it quieter. Those high idle temps are perfectly fine.

Custom profile would do it. Have the fans sit at 30% until the card hits 50-55 then go up like it normally does.

You can still tweak fan curves on cards with the 0db feature.

MSI Afterburners settings has a fan curve manipulator.
Set the 25-35% as minimum and your fine.

Latest Windows 10 update completely ruined my GFE software and brought freezes while in games. Had to re-install to fix the problem, maybe try re-installing your drivers altogether.

Also make sure nothing is blocking any of the GPU fans. If one get blocked the other will run at 100% as a failsafe. And make sure the power cables are connected firmly.

I'm using a k70 rgb. I usually don't eat over my keyboard but in terms of getting dirty, it's not too bad. Cleaning is super easy because they keys aren't recessed so usually give it a few quick bursts with an air can duster and it's good as new.

tahmidkhan123 got a reaction from dreamhacking in Corsair CX500 or EVGA 500B
Corsair cx power supplies get a bad rep due to their cheap construction. psu reviewers like Johhnyguru commented on their poor holdup time, but in other metrics, it was average. The biggest letdown is the temperature rating, these psus are only rated at the specified wattage at 30 degrees celcius, which is way below the operating temp in most pcs. As far as I can work out, at  the higher temps, it cannot reliably output the advertised wattage. I am running a cx600m on a rig that should only draw around 450 watts max so i hoping I'll be fine. It's been like this for over a year and I haven't had any problems. These are budget units and you get what you pay for. For low to medium price bracket systems, these will do fine but it is advised to spend more on a psu on higher systems and in general as they are one of the most crucial components in your pc.

For Steam games you can save it just like it is on an external drive. For software they have registry keys due to activation locks, so you need to deactivate them to reinstall I think if you ever lost them. If they're newer then they're probably connected to an account though so it shouldn't be a hassle.
